Really enjoyed that. For people who don't know, those Mt Vic trails are a 5 min walk from Wellington CBD.
Cheers! Yeah it’s unreal how close they are to the CBD. Used to be my go to ride when I lived in Wellington.

That go pro footage of bomb hole doesn’t do it justice, in real life that track is freaking scary especially on a cheap hard tail.

Have ridden Mt Victoria. Great Italian(??) cafe at bottom of the hill.
Big climb from the bottom to the top at Mt Vic.
Found trails to be a little one dimensional imho.
Makara & Wainui offered more variety.
PS - from the deep south, Otepoti... where you get 4 seasons in 80% of every day.

Cheers mate! No boss to worry about hahah I’m self employed so ride what I like now. That would be a beast of a bike. Used to live in Wellington and enjoyed Makara and Wainui. But vic was a bit of a throw back for me and Matt because we used to ride there before work. Didn’t make it to Dunedin on this trip but I’m going to try ride there in January. 🤟

Hahahahahah mate fair enough! I got to pass the blame to BluTac for this one as it constantly falls down. Then again it’s mostly my fault for not framing it like a normal person. Will get that one fixed for the videos that haven’t been shot yet 🤟

You wouldn’t believe the weather we had going south. It felt like a different country. Then we returned to what seems to be winter in the north hahaha
