Thanks Lance really enjoying all these new videos of you travelling around NZ . That trail looked awesome I like all the natives in the bush really pretty. The Bess are about it was these wooden features just come out of the blue. Looking forward to seeing Wednesday night episode 😊
I used to live right down the bottom next to the old Mud Cycle in early 2000s, guess what, everyday was a perfect lap day there lol. The trails weren’t this refined back then, but it was great fun. I did remember when Barry filmed some of his MtB video there too with kids around the block.
Audio is great, very clear to hear, doesn't feel windy at all. If it's straight from the camera that would be unbelievable tech improvements! But I suppose you used external mic right?
It is an extra cab hilux. It has a longer tray than the double cab which means the bikes fit with the rear wheel on. It has suicide doors and a smaller space behind the driver but technically can still take passengers.

Wednesday's video is a bit different. Did Queen Charlotte track but turned out to be a bit of a mission
Nice trails, Connor was making you work hard 😊
He is fit. Those people who say you can't be fit with an ebike should follow Connor for awhile

love your videos . Old Dogg ripping it up your the man, an inspiration to myself and I'm sure many others. God bless.
Thanks for that. It's always nice to get positive feedback.
Nothing like coming in from SK road and not seeing another soul to the top. It's fun at night too!
Yes, I imagine a night ride would be fun.
Excellent place to ride dude! great video :)
Thanks very much. Just wish I had more time. Could have done so much in Wellington
Pohatu and Starfish, two of my fav trails.
Try out the other side of the park i.e. leaping lizard , nikau valley
Very nice trails. They look so simular to the Finale outdoor in Italy.
I love riding in Finale Ligure. Never really thought about them being the same but I guess you are right.
@@bestdayevermtb2 "Never really thought about them being the same" . I think its because the vegetation is different.
Nice selection by Connor. Only thing I would’ve added is Deliverance 👍🏻
Maybe you can show me next time.
@@bestdayevermtb2 sounds good :)
thanks for stopping by Makara Peak
I really enjoyed it.
Nice video lance! at 15:15 a rabbit runs right under the drop
Yes I saw that at the time.
Don't know about the MTB but 40 odd years ago used to be pretty good diving for crays off that coast. Had to pick your weather though
Good ride, Connor didn't take you to the local track on the other side of the road, if ya know ya know, or maybe its gone now!
We didn't do quite a few trails but I think he showed me a nice mixture.
Dude you look like a pro up their..!!!
Are you sure you commented on the correct video.😂
As a non-ebiker i dream of the day i could do 3 runs in one go. Absolutely cooked by the top on my first run haha!
That is why e bikes are so much fun. Just more riding up and down.
@@bestdayevermtb2 one day, one day. Enjoying the videos mate keep it up

No that is straight off the gopro. I do have dead cats stuck over the mic's though.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Nice, really good quality, I might give it try next time. Was thinking, this doesn't sound like Wellington wind at all! 🤣
Could you please go to Riverhead a bit more especially West Coast riders club
Who was your guide? I dont mind booking him
His name is Connor. He was great, but he is not a guide. He just offered to show me around. Maybe he could start a side business.
Was that a double cab ute. If so, do you leave the rear wheel on and it fits in ok?

You said makara wrong
The first time was pretty off but he corrected it (other than rolling the 'r')
What was that furry rodent that ran out in front of you coming off the wooden skinny?!
Rabbit.
