What about a DLC at the sequel of saints row? He’s friends with the mega corporation lead by Eric and a X pyramid staff name Tera will try to get revenge for experimenting people.
One thing I've always wondered is the age of the Playa. Does he start off SR 1 in his late teens? He can buy drugs and alcohol but how much does a city like Stillwater care about ID? In my opinion SR1 has a "highschool dropout" feel to it. SR2 puts his age around 20 or 21 and that game has a "college kid" feel/setting to it. SR3 puts him in his mid to late 20s, but to be President of USA in SR4 he has to be at least 35 which would make him 30 when he disarmed the nuke. He must be in his 40s by the time the new SR game takes place.

Tbf about the difference between matt and mister sunshine. Matt begged for his life while mister sunshine is actively trying to kill the playa while defying death.
Also Matt was still legally a minor by SR3. Boss has little qualms when it comes to killing but (probably) didn't want to do it to a kid, at the very least cutting him slack for being so young.
Troy didn't want to arrest his friends, and he was pissed about the explosion. Him finding out Playa was alive meant he didn't accidentally cause a friend to be killed and he was going to do everything to keep his friend alive. He could have let Johnny die in jail but didn't because even though Johnny tried killing him. Troy understood why and proved he was still a Saint regardless of him wearing a badge.
I kinda like how the boss is toned down more in 3 and 4. Still dangerous but a little bit more chill than before. It shows character growth and that possibly the words that Julius told him at the end of SR2 stuck with them that they were more dangerous than their enemies, or in other words "Vice Kings in purple." Maybe that's just me.
I just hate how the Boss is a bit of a pushover in SR4, where they let Kinzie just talk down to them, punch them, treat you like you're an idiot and even just getting captured by Satan and needing to be rescued.
except Vks didn't run drugs under King. He wasn't having anything and got into a argument with Warren because of it. Sure they were violent but the crew was more then just street thugs they had legit money coming in on top of the prostitution, gambling and protection. So it would have been fun to see Boss call Julius out on his shit for spewing Ultor propaganda and making shit up. Ben made the VKs to combat against the drug operations of the Carnales not to take their product and sell it.
It seems like the sons of samedi are based on a real gang called “mickey cobras”. Saints row 1 and 2 are based on chicago, detroit, cleveland, and baltimore they say. The mickey cobras originated in chicago
I feel like the playa spared matt cause if you remember in sr3 he's only 16 and just a scared kid like sure he acts bigger and badder at first but once Loren dies an killbane takes over he just turns into what he is a kid not some crime boss
"The Boss" does have a niece but its mentioned in a deleted cutscene in SR2 (mrsaintsgodzilla21 made a video on this its called 'deleted activities' or something). just so i'll let you know...
Have a father too from the Perspective on Female voice.. and always said to the playa when she was a kid her dad say You can't never have enough guns.. That's why that explain Playa Collect all weapon since she never enough with the number guns she Collected.
I hate how in sr3 and sr4 they like to dumb down the bosses power and craziness to the point that someone as irrelevant as angel has killbane more scared than boss who has done the craziest shit next to gat. It infuriated me to see people take playa as a fucking joke in steelport when he’s the exact opposite. Playa is fearsome and a force to be reckoned with. Messing with playa and especially killing Johnny would mean he’d be out for blood. There’s no other character in the saints or in steelport/Stillwater besides Johnny that deserves the title of being the most feared.
I feel like the playa from the sr1 trailer is actually bald and white but for saints row 2, he is bald and white from the other trailer maybe 3-4 he grew some hair and a pair to talk
This marks the Season 2 premiere of my history series and it's time to put this series into overdrive! Comment below who'd you like to see next and just remember if you are still here watching my videos... PAPA RPG loves you
For my Saints Row boss time line: SR1:Playa SR2:Playa again SR3: The cousin takes over for the playa. The playa stays in Stillwater and introduces their cousin into the saints after hearing about the saints events from Saints Row 2. The cousin decides to rob a bank to give the saints more fame which leads to the start of Saints Row the third. SR4: Cousin again
It's just odd, in 1 he barely talks, in 2 he is a straight up villain, in 3 and 4 he acts a little goofy. It feels like they didn't really decide what direction to go with him
@Arthur Morgan i love that story, was yours like a number 2 to CJ post San Andreas? Mine was a lesser to mis in the London Underworld when The Kray Twins were Jailed he Fled the country. (Thus why he's on the streets at the start of SR 1, as he's effectively homeless) By the time of SR 3 He's in his late 50's
I find it strange that SR1 don't allow players to change gender but in SR2 and through SR4, you can pick a gender. For backstory, I believe it is up to the Player's head canon. Like Joker, the playa doesn't have an origin. The playa origins are different based on picking race, gender, and personality. Personally, I think the boss is based on the real life player's life.
I played through 1 of the DLC for Saints Row 4 last night and it gave me the feeling that whole story Saints Row 4 never happened and that the whole game is just a movie made by the Saints. It was Enter the Dominatrix it just felt like from how they were talking at the start of each mission as if they were all actors even the Zinyak. But who knows if that is canon or not the DLC could have just done that as a joke.
It isn't canon. It was actually scrapped idea for a dlc if I remember correctly for SR3, until it just became it own game SR4. Then remade into a weird dlc that isn't canon.
If they ever do remake Sr2 I'm pretty sure they will add Troy baker as the default voice, because the voice acting community worships him and Nolan north
Never in the last 14 years since SR1 came out did I know that there were different voices for the character depending on Race. And I used to play the game alot back then .
Btw kingsey is the only person that actually knows the Boss real name, you can hear their conversation in saints row 3 in the activity where you protect her in helicopter while she drives around, she actually was about to say it but he stopped her. Then in the Zimos drug traffic icing activities the boss was curious about his name but then Zimos said what’s your and he went quiet so his name is probably something embarrassing.
Now that I just found out since I never played the first game, It actually really bothers me that you can't play as a female in the first game because it suddenly doesn't make sense as far as story goes to play as a female in later games.
while I find a lot of Saints Row 4 lacking, I think it's the game with the deepest analysis of the character of the Playa. You learn a lot about them and they are developed enough to open up with companions about past events when you hang out with them.

Didn’t realize Troy had a soft spot for the boss, good on him for letting the series continue even if it spiraled into a crazy sci-fi experience
It shows character growth and that possibly the words that Julius told him at the end of SR2 stuck with them that they were more dangerous than their enemies, or in other words "Vice Kings in purple."
Maybe that's just me.
I just hate how the Boss is a bit of a pushover in SR4, where they let Kinzie just talk down to them, punch them, treat you like you're an idiot and even just getting captured by Satan and needing to be rescued.
@@GeteMachine there’s hella insubordination in sr3 and 4 the boss in sr2 would never let that slide
except Vks didn't run drugs under King.
Remember when the boss fought the playa? In saints row 4
There where a couple missions like that they are crazy
No I don't remember because it wasn't rememberable.
Josuke Higashikata actually it was for a lot of people so why you tryna be negative
@@mrcocoloco7200 welp you did lose your memories...
@Kattos _ sr2’s missions are the most memorable tho.
The real question is ‘what happened to Gat’s tattoos?’
It seems like the sons of samedi are based on a real gang called “mickey cobras”. Saints row 1 and 2 are based on chicago, detroit, cleveland, and baltimore they say. The mickey cobras originated in chicago
I like The Samedi gangs i always take my Homies and picking my fight with them :D.
11:47 that voice is also the guy who played Carlos in SR2
Carlos is Playa theory when?
4:30 dudes so fast he’s not even holding the sword
SR2 cutscenes are bugged if game is running with too many frames per second.
The boss: becomes a woman, different race and starts talking normally
Everyone: Do something with your hair?
Putting GTA music on a Saints Row video is like putting a McDonald's hamburger patty in a Burger King burger. It's just not the same.
I feel like the playa from the sr1 trailer is actually bald and white but for saints row 2, he is bald and white from the other trailer maybe 3-4 he grew some hair and a pair to talk
Broooo driver 3 theme music brings back memories
I can listen to that song OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
"Hey can we hurry this up I wanna go to Freckle Bitches"
5:33 Love that voice actor he brings the best life to the Boss
The SR 2 character creator was ahead of its time. So flexible.
This marks the Season 2 premiere of my history series and it's time to put this series into overdrive! Comment below who'd you like to see next and just remember if you are still here watching my videos... PAPA RPG loves you
Aisha
Yea yee
You have not been posting after 1 year
Do a sr3 remastered vid
that’s fendii Currently working on one this very moment.
For my Saints Row boss time line:
SR1:Playa
SR2:Playa again
SR3: The cousin takes over for the playa. The playa stays in Stillwater and introduces their cousin into the saints after hearing about the saints events from Saints Row 2. The cousin decides to rob a bank to give the saints more fame which leads to the start of Saints Row the third.
SR4: Cousin again
RPG: Talking about Saints Row
Also RPG: *puts GTA music*
I don’t think I’ve ever made any of my characters consistently in any of the games
@? I have
@? I have
Honestly, the portrayal of "Boss" in SR2 always pissed me off. I was pleasantly surprised at the shift in demeanor in SR3 and SR4
I thought the boss seemed a bit too stupid in SR4 though. The were better in SR3. The better balance.
Saint row 1 and 2 were perfect and obviously the playa was angry in 2 so it made sense
@@elcalenton00 When you get blown up, your leader betrayed you, and one of your day ones are about to die. You’d be kinda pissed.
The history teller: saints row
The music background: gta san andreas
understandable have a great day
He shall always be known as "the boss"
That's right.
A lot of people don't like his change throughout the games, but I don't mind the Playa mellowing out with age.
He finally mostly grows up in sr4.
It's just odd, in 1 he barely talks, in 2 he is a straight up villain, in 3 and 4 he acts a little goofy. It feels like they didn't really decide what direction to go with him
spanish speakers: History of the boss "The *Beach*"
Yes jaja
SR 1: Generic silent character
SR 2: Bad ass anger issue baller
SR 3: Living the life chill ass fuck boss man
SR 4: The president.
Saints Row 3 remastered is coming are you going to be making any videos on it
Tbh i am hyped for it,even tho it is on Epic Games Launcher
Diego Fuentes they basically just took the graphics from the saints row 3 first showcase and added it to the game
Alec Fisher no... no they blatantly didn’t.
F that. I want 1 and 2
"Yo, could you speed this shit up? I wanna go to Freckle Bitch's"
"Hope you don't mind hepatitis" lmao
My version of the Boss has an even longer history as prior to SR 1 he was a gangster in England who fled to avoid prosecution
Nobody asked
I made my character a run of the mill crook in sr1 and used the excuse that the explosion disfigured him so my character in sr2 becomes the joker
I made my character in the creation screen
@@kusivelho4733 No they didn't but you seem to be the only stick in the mud not sharing your bosses story
1:57 Lmao, the way Johnny looks back like, "Did you just fucking talk?!"
I was disappointed that they didn't bring back his sr2 Hispanic voice for 3 and 4.
Mijo Falco sad
I was disappointed too, and how they didnt bring back the female Hispanic voice for SR4.
I honestly don't like how they didn't had the asian voices at all
bruh i wish they we're gonna remaster sr2 instead of sr3 but either way still glad it's coming out May 22
Why is your SR2 character more iconic than the default one they use in the loading screens?
I find it strange that SR1 don't allow players to change gender but in SR2 and through SR4, you can pick a gender. For backstory, I believe it is up to the Player's head canon. Like Joker, the playa doesn't have an origin. The playa origins are different based on picking race, gender, and personality. Personally, I think the boss is based on the real life player's life.
I'm confused why you used gta themes lol
What are you talking about? I only hear Saints Row 2 theme?
Oh I hear it now that's GTA Vice City but was wrong with that?
it could be a nod/joke to the times when there was a full on discourse about how Saints Row was supposedly copying GTA or vice versa
because GTA music, specifically the San Andreas theme is, to put it in one word: LEGENDARY.
GTA SA theme kinda fits Saint Row's atmosphere
Welcome back!
He literally has GTA San Andreas theme song in a staints row video😂😂😂
What is wrong with that nigga? Jesus I see so many comments like this. Is the world going to end for you or something?
@@mrcocoloco7200 calm down its funny and hes just saying😂🤦♀️
Love the use of the Driver 3 song
Sir BigWater pretty much the same thing with gat out of hell they should’ve both just been DLC
The boss used to work in a Chinatown masseuse parlor during the individuals’ high school days
If they ever do remake Sr2 I'm pretty sure they will add Troy baker as the default voice, because the voice acting community worships him and Nolan north
I honestly preferred him as mute. It made those few speaking moments great. Call it the Silent Bob effect.
Never in the last 14 years since SR1 came out did I know that there were different voices for the character depending on Race. And I used to play the game alot back then .
Gta sa theme in the background is pure class
Listen to the emotion in his voice.
Rpg must be off his meds
Notice how Johnny is the most iconic Saint as well as the boss, he's in every Saints Row including the beginning of Saints Row 3.
As a women I already appreciate that you could make the main character one too.
i HAD to subscribe after hearing “you guys smell that? smells like...”
Yea I remember those missions like it’s fred-something it was in sr4 too right during kinzies simulation or buying a gun something like that
Cameron hmm I don’t remember
@@cameron8024 Its not Fred. In SRTT female voice 1 says "Matha Fucking Washington" or something. Thats it.
No one talks about how gats tattoos don’t exist in 3 or 4
Now that I just found out since I never played the first game, It actually really bothers me that you can't play as a female in the first game because it suddenly doesn't make sense as far as story goes to play as a female in later games.
while I find a lot of Saints Row 4 lacking, I think it's the game with the deepest analysis of the character of the Playa. You learn a lot about them and they are developed enough to open up with companions about past events when you hang out with them.
It's kinda funny how The Boss getting elected POTUS went from a completely unrealistic scenario to being well within the realm of possibility.
Starts off a Saints Row vid with the Driv3r menu music...Subbed simply because of this
Honestly the boss in SR2 is my favorite version.
