Thanks for these video's. It takes me back, before the Covid crap my good wife and I used to get in our old 36 foot motor home and leave the Dakota's for parts unknown. We ended up in Arizona in a small town that had a nice campground that was reasonable and had great service. For 5 years we did that, it was the best years of our lives and I am so happy that we had that time together then Covid hit, my wife never got it, however she was not able to get the tests she needed to diagnose the cancer that was eating her stomach, the Doctors gave her ant-acids and we waited till the restrictions were lifted, by then it was to late and I lost her to the dreaded desease after 51 years and 4 days of living as one. God how I miss that fine lady, the joy we experienced living in that small traveling home keeps her memory alive. I sold the rig and am now stationary, I am battling cancer myself now, so I will soon join her in heaven where once again we can be together. I look forward to that time.
Lot of folks were shocked when they heard he'd been hung, cause they described him as being humble, easy goin and just like to tell tall tales and laugh, wasn't no harm to anyone really.. thanks so much for remembering a good guy and seeing the cemetery..😊.. this was a great story..
Trust me , it's not a great story if you strung up, especially if you're really "easy going" and humble. It may have been great story telling, but definitely not a great story. 😂😅😊
@@Edwarddiaz21 I'll definitely "trust" you, since you're easy going and humble and have been strung up a few times yourself and would know what you are talking about....
What you add, is possible when he was sober at work and not around his buds in the saloon. Sadly, he had poor choice in picking friends. If you hang out with violent men, plan on a short life. Even men can have 2 lives or 2 personalities. Good at church and when law is around, bad when it's not. Though, I can imagine Bill was a great guy to be around as long as he wasn't stealing your claim which he probably did just to make a name for himself which was obviously foolishness.
I never heard of Russian Bill. My Grandfather would tell us about the "old West". He was born in 1881 and there were still "Cowboys and Indians " around. Him and his brother work on building the Sanra Fe Rail Road in Kansas. Thanks for great story. Take care
Marshall Trimble is a Arizona historian he has a story about Russian Bill I thought his name was Bob ,Bill it doesn't matter he got hung for being anewance!
I love old history like this. This ghost town is remarkable. It gives you a perspective on how life was back then compared to what we live now. Nice drone footage, Ron, and a great story.
Everything is so clean and well preserved. Those floors look so much like concrete. I thought that was neat. Interesting how he can trace the family back. Thank you Ron, for taking us on this adventure!
Just a fabulous video in the over 150 yrs old building that has been restored mostly with all the authentic furniture n accessories!!!! What a GREAT FIND,Ron, n thank you ever so for sharing it with me!!! A fantastic video with a plethora of information n tales n accessories that blow the mind!!!!
Good bad or ugly when you tell the tale it’s always great❤. Thank you for bringing us along fascinating place. Image riding your horse into town back then just to eat.
My friend, your production quality has gotten so incredibly good. From your presentation to the editing to the awesome camera/drone work and everything in between. The way you segwayed from the cemetery to the ghost town was like a Hollywood feature. Lastly, the subject matters you choose are amazing, and your storytelling abilities are fantastic. I'm looking forward to your future productions.
Hi from Sweden. I always enjoy every episode. So sad and forgotten. 😓 I lost my oldest son seven years ago and will never, ever stop talking about him. 💔
Thanks for posting. Beautiful landscape in the background. Closest we have in our state is the Badlands, and I Iove that terrain. Just being in it's presence is nostalgic of the old west.
It's so fascinating to me to actually see history. Imagine all the people that ate in that dining room. If those boots could talk. I bet they have been places, seen things, and worked through. Our history may be crude and barbaric at times but its always a great reminder how far we have come in everyday life.
What a story!!! There are so many details you got from visiting the town and the tour was amazing!! Great video, views, and stories!!: Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻🙏🙂
Thank you I was raised by my grandfather who was born in 1870. I grew up listening to his stories of times gone by. My grandmother was born in a covered wagon traveling to California. Things have certainly gone south from those days.
Another fantastic video Ron, if only those walls could talk they would have some fantastic stories to tell. I love all the history about the cowboys, Indians & things like that I'm from the UK so u can imagine how the stories like these people & mining towns things like that interesting, keep up the good work Ron x
Sad ending, but I really enjoyed the story, Ron! Guess they took stealing horses pretty seriously back then. Great old historic location and Dave was very knowledgeable. Thanks for sharing this one with us!
Fantastic scenery, history and views from the drone help to bring history to life. The music was brilliant too, like you're physically soaring like a bird taking in the whole landscape....thanks Ron for another awesome story. Fern-Rose UK 🇬🇧
Oh, Whou! What a story!!! The part when a coach arrives and the took of the guys off the rope, so they have room for dinner…🤦♀️😝 oh, those was the days! And our tour guide friend has a lot to say hey?😜
Thanks for the story you really love history and I love history and learning. I kind of feel sorry for them those guys. I hope they rest in peace. Thank you again.❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Also notice the splinters in that rafter near the rope. If that's the original rafter of the building, its no coincidence the rafter is splintering there and not as much anywhere else. Story baseline shows solid evidence here.
Great video very informative. The tour of hotel etc was so cool. Can you imagine getting off stage tired and hungry and walk into a hanging going on sheesh. Thanks Ron 😍
Have a blessed "SUNDAY' to you "RON" & to your family.! It's interesting story from the past.!! Keep safe while your traveling.!! Fr. North Hollywood, California 😊
Cool at 16:18 I see my great great grandmothers headstone in the background, she knew most of them, was station keeper for the overland stage, Sarah Hayes
Hi ...great history story ...old ghost town is pretty scary...lots of innocent people....never stood a chance ..... thanks for all your great vlogs....... Deborah 🇨🇦.
It's a fascinating story. I loved the tour of the Ghost town. I love the history of old homes and towns. I also have been interested in Billy the Kid. Such an interesting outlaw.
Hi Ron, I am watching your video right now and I love your videos and channel. Thank you for posting this video. I am enjoying the video. Love the hat.
Thank you Ron what a great story. I lived in NM for 17 years never heard of Shakespeare but I did see so much I enjoyed every place we went to. My dad was forced transfer and it definitely wasn't a mistake for him or my little family as both of my kids were born in alb. I know that's the most fascinating state I've ever lived in besides Arkansas but NM was the coolest place you could make day trips and definitely have history everywhere. I can't say I believe in ghosts because I've never had one pop up and say boo but yes many towns had me crying literally and I know it's the history and wind but that wind can whisper the sorrows of the past so to speak especially going into the reservations
Oh che bellissimo video con pezzi di storia ❤ bel personaggio Russian Bill che riposa in pace 🖤🌹 Grazie mr. Ron ❤❤❤ per averci raccontato queste storie ❤❤❤
Awesome Ron fantastic story and a sad one too . I so wanted to peek up those stairs did you have a sneaky peek I wonder ? thank you so much for this .Georgia UK xx
The stone for the 2 pony express riders caught my eye. It was dated August 1877 but that must have been when the stone went up. Pony express started in 1860, went bankrupt after 18 months.
I’ve been looking for you for so long. I remember you were going on vacation and I couldn’t find you again until now. Glad to see you!!!! I’ve watched some others tubers on this style but no way!! You got this

Great job on the aerial view too and love that music to go along with it! Love your hat too! ❤️👍🏻BTW, you can’t really trust Wikipedia, even though when you look up something they are the first ones to come up, because I’ve read things on there that are NOT accurate.
