  • This video is a step by step guide on how to mask image into text in pixellab. I explained masking image into text with your mobile phone in which I used Pixellab editing app. If you want to edit an image into text, follow the steps. You can also combine text and image together with this method. You only need a picture with no background (PNG image) and your Pixellab app or other editing app that has merge option. Select the text font you like and input your image into the design with the texture option.

Sir, when i send text to back of the image it disappears ( image is only in png format and having all its background in original) or should i use only images which has no background? Does it because the size of the image? Pl guide

The image must have no background. It must be in PNG format. If the image is not in PNG format, remove the background first before proceeding with the editing.

Hello sir, does this required thumbnail image or 1:1 image will also work out?

    • @Opedgraphics

1:1 or square image will work out.
Any image size will work out.
You can also save as a PNG file to use on any other design project.

What version of Pixellab did you use?
Note that you are using the texture tool after merging the rectangle to the circular shape.
      1. Select circle.
      2. Create a rectangle and position it where the head of the individual in the image is.
      3. Merge the rectangle to the circle.
      4. Use *texture tool* to insert the image from gallery.
      5. Use the option under the texture tool to adjust the image.
      6. If the image is not well placed, adjust the side of your shape by moving it either outward or inward.
      Hope you get the explanation

Hello Sir, as per your reply things are working well..but i am facing one problem and it is when i select image instead of appearing in the circle it appears in all the letters (text).
I am using png images. Does it a problem of size?

The two reason you may be experiencing that is these:
      1. Shape has not being merged with the text.
      2. The size of the image you intend to mask is not in the proper dimension.
Solution: crop the PNG image to the right dimension before ticking the mark option.
And if it is due to the issue of not merging the shape to the upper part of the text. Merge the shape and text before using the texture tool.
