To increase temperature of 1 ltr if water by 1 degree, around 90 watts of power is needed. Laptop battery is around 2000 MAH or around 7.5 watts of power. Rest of the maths you can do to find out how much of hot water you can get

You have made the most simple thing complicated. Leave aside battery, your glow plugs, your box etc. I don't want them. Simply explain wiring of switch and indicator lamp with more patience. If not draw a circuit diagram and supply.

idea bahut accha hai bete. किंतु अगर आप डबल पोल डबल थ्रो स्विच यूज करें तो बैटरी को सोलर पैनल से चार्जिंग भी कंट्रोल हो सकेगी. थोड़ा इंप्रूवमेंट है

Glow plugs are made for shorter period glowing not for continues glowing. This project requires high current so laptop batteries won't last long.Its just for fun not for long term use.
