Just a tip here. If you don’t clean the glaze off the shelf before firing it again it will melt deeper into the shelf and it is much much harder to get off. Good luck on doing that. I soo love your candle pullers. I will definitely be making something similiar. My gosh those peacock platters are absolutely amazing!! If you haven’t done a tutorial on how you make the candle holders I would so love to see how you make them. What great kiln loads! Wow. I love that speckled glaze!!
Thank you so much! Yes, I am aware of the hazards of firing glaze dropped shelves. I tried sanding them off with a dremel, but they were too much work. So they stay for now. But my shelves are finally kiln washed! I am sure the next kiln opening will have the kiln washed shelves..🙂🙂
I love your use of texture mulberry, from this video but also from previous videos. I was going to get it but it seems veryyy close to texture burgundy...Have you used this one as well? Love your kiln openings, so much beautiful work!
Thank you! And yes you are right, they are pretty similar. I think burgundy is a bit deeper but I like mulberry better. Let me see if I can find an actual test tile with the 2 glazes. I am also always confused between the 2. But I think, if you have textured mulberry, you can skip textured burgundy..
Can I ask the size of your small kiln? I’m wanting to get an additional smaller one and having a hard time visualizing the size I need, after seeing yours and what you were able to fire, I think that would be a good size. Thanks for all of your amazing videos…and your ability to recall your glaze combos is impressive. All my best to you and yours.
Looking for the texture used on the first beautiful candle holder on the second kiln. I love paisley and that texture is gorgeous! Can you share where you got it please? Beautiful work!!
Yes of course. I think all the textures on the candle holders are from Algiscrafts.com. I also have a discount code for them- jas15 for 15% off your purchase. Enjoy!

Thank you so much! My smaller kiln is 45Ltr capacity. It’s perfect for testing and firing smaller orders instead of waiting to fill up the big kiln.

I love the candlesticks! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Do you have a template for the pillar portion? I’m happy to pay you for it. Thanks
Thank you so much! Not yet, but I’ll include them in my next template batch..
