American Percussion's " Slit Marimba Snare"

The slit marimba snare measures about 16" in diameter, 6" deep and has 16 different pitches or tones. There are many other tones on the than the obvious ones . There is a conventional snare head on the bottom with a snare. The conventional head helps to amplify the sound of the tongues as well as contributing to the beautiful low end pitch.
