American Percussion's " Cajon Snare Drum "

This cajon Snare drum measures about 12" wide by 6" high and has a maple shell with a cherry wood batter head.There are two sound ports to let the sound. The drum is a lot more sensitive than I thought it would be at first. That's why I played the drum with mallets and hands to show some sort of dynamic range. Recorded @ sonart recording studio.com.

You could but I don't think that it would sound that good. It would probably be too bright sounding .

This makes me wonder if this is only used as a snare drum, or if you can play it like a regular cajon, with kick/bass, and snare sounds. After watching you play it with your hands, I think it can be played like a regular cajon.
