There was very limited footage of Sierra Leone itself. The wedding footage was a Liberian wedding (the flag on the phone cover). Zebras and the type of savannah shown is not found in Sierra Leone. Also found some inaccuracies in comments made. Great to see a fairly positive video about the country, just a shame the majority of the footage wasn't of the country too!
The Limba and loko are the original inhabitants the mende came from the fall of the mali empire and the mane invasions. The temne are tradres that crossed in from futa djallon prensent day guinea❤🇸🇱
Limba as well migrated from Guinea, they’re not the original inhabitants of Sierra Leone, all the tribes in Sierra Leone migrated from Guinea and Mali. U can just say the Limba are the first people who entered Sierra Leone , before the others tribes. Don’t talk as if The limba fall from the sky
Sierra Leone has a stream line to dual citizenship if you can provide DNA connections. I plan on getting dual citizenship eventually. The process is a little pricey.
Plan well, ensure you have on-going income you can relay on. Do not rush into anything. Learn to know the country and its people. Don’t necessarily trust the first person that smiles at you and seem overly friendly and available to you. Take time.
Well the language that we commonly speak is krio and we have 17 tribes even I belong to a tribe, so we speak 17 languages but we are an English speaking west African territory. Well that's all I know but I am going to learn more at school.
@@JaneDoe19635 yes, the Temne ethnic group is the biggest, and second Mende but the Krio language is more spoken because it is a lingafranka across the country.
I’m so disappointed that they allowed their colonizers religion to take over the country. Islam and Christianity are not authentic to Africa. After watching this video I became more disappointed. I didn’t find anything exciting or great about Salone. Just poverty

Islam and Christianity are the majority in every African country though? Why are you bothered about Sierra Leone specifically?
@@perla5465 I’m Sierra Leonean that’s why.
@@alphacharm well at least you still have your authentic religion, right?
@@perla5465 nope. It was destroyed by colonizers who brought Islam and Christianity
@@alphacharmAfrican Spirituality is still practiced in Salone.
