Fenix 8 Solar vs Fenix 7X Features and Price Comparison

I compare the Garmin Fenix 8 Solar price and features to the Fenix 7X. Is it worth the huge price difference? Perhaps for some and Fenix 8 is the better watch if you are not price constraint. Fenix 7X is better value on the other hand.

I think the price comparison is a bit unfair, I have the Fenix ​​7x Sapphire myself and this model is a discontinued model which is always offered at a lower price.
When it was first released it was significantly more expensive, in my case it cost €999 shortly after its release, so the price has increased by €200, which is still a lot.
Unfortunately they only show the Fenix ​​7x here and not the Fenix ​​8 with which they are comparing it, because something has changed inside too. Some sensors for heart rate and blood oxygen measurement were already updated in the 7 Pro series and these have now been adopted by the Fenix ​​8. The battery life of the MIP model has also improved slightly, as has the solar power, and the panel has been replaced with a new and slightly larger one.

Just bought the 7x solar here in Norway for 528 euros this Monday.
Love the watch. Went from the base fenix 5 47mm to the 7x solar. Going to use this watch for a god while.
Maybe change to the fenix 9 when it goes on sale😅

It is not worth upgrading due to the exaggerated price and the battery is consumed heavily according to many users and the problem may be solved in the next update, the price will drop down soon so better to wait. thanks for the nice video
