I think the price comparison is a bit unfair, I have the Fenix ​​7x Sapphire myself and this model is a discontinued model which is always offered at a lower price. When it was first released it was significantly more expensive, in my case it cost €999 shortly after its release, so the price has increased by €200, which is still a lot. Unfortunately they only show the Fenix ​​7x here and not the Fenix ​​8 with which they are comparing it, because something has changed inside too. Some sensors for heart rate and blood oxygen measurement were already updated in the 7 Pro series and these have now been adopted by the Fenix ​​8. The battery life of the MIP model has also improved slightly, as has the solar power, and the panel has been replaced with a new and slightly larger one.

For the same price, venu is way better

Just bought the 7x solar here in Norway for 528 euros this Monday. Love the watch. Went from the base fenix 5 47mm to the 7x solar. Going to use this watch for a god while. Maybe change to the fenix 9 when it goes on sale😅

Is it possible to download map without connecting with pc, or other device? Cable is with usb-c, but my laptop has only usb b. I'll be greatful for some advise. Greetings

What about Marine Maps .. how do you get contour lines for depth in rivers and oceanic coastal waters? It seems you can change to Marine Theme, but Garmin doesn't give great instruction on how to get marine maps onto the Fenix watch.

Get the instinct 2 tactical solar. Better than any of the fenix 6 line. More durable and cheaper.

when reviewing data, dot you have readings during the exersise? I went to a garmin shop today, they said if I don't have the garmin watch, it only saves start and end freq. Does it works with the HRM pro plus?

I just got a polar h10 today, so if I have everything paired correctly , and go do a run for example, the heart beat reading will be coming from the polar h10 ? Will the data from the workout using the apple fitness app also transfer over to the polar app? Thanks. Only ask bc if I start the workout from the polar app on the watch , there doesn’t seem to be a stop button to end the workout
