the patch is not all, it's all the dust on your ms20 which makes the distortion the most

I was so happy when I found out you can get this thing to sound like a distorted bass

I almost regret ordering a fuzz pedal to use with the ms-20 Mini! had no idea you could create overdrive this way, so awesome 😄

The cool thing about synthesis is that there are so many ways of doing things.

I love out of control synth sounds, i hate when people make videos of the cleanest generic sounding shit, analog synths are capable of some pretty unique sounds,

***** The brutes are nice, though. I have a Microbrute. It's just...different from the MS-20 Mini. I like using the triangle wave output and cranking up the "metallizer" parameter. On the Microbrute, I set it so the Metal parameter is under envelope control. That gets you either a sharp crunch (short attack) or, with a longer attack, an evolving, screechy/straining metal tone. The other nice thing is that it's much easier to play the filter self-oscillation on the brutes: with keyboard tracking, you end up with a clean sine-wave oscillator, which may or may not be something you need. I haven't yet figured out a way to play the filter on the MS-20. Keyboard tracking only kind of works. Each synth has its own quirks.

So you're using the headphone out to monitor to your amp (since the signal out is used for the feedback loop ) ?

I was using the headphone out for the feedback loop,

@@OuijTube not sure if using the headphone out to the interface/monitors is a great idea. I think the phones out is TRS so using that for feedback may be wrong too, not sure

@@kimseniorb Nothing wrong with using it for the feedback loop
