Thanks for this video - very helpful and presented well. I bought an Enhanced Mobility Triaxe Cruze travel scooter from Marc's Mobility in 2022 and it has been great.
I’ve had the Jazzy Car on for a couple months now and like ke the fact that I now can get out and do some shopping. Most of the time I I use my walker but I do like this for the occasions where is more walking. We just attended our grandson’s wedding it was an outdoor venu and I would have had to miss most of it without myy chair. There was gravel, dirt, bumpy grass and little hills. It did a great job. The only thing I miss is a cup holder. I know I can order one from the company but the price is rediculous but the shipping too. If anyone has a solution I would like to know about it.
Glad to hear the Carbon was able to get you out and about to enjoy your grandsons wedding! That's so great to hear. On the cost of the cup holder, nobody can get around that. As far as shipping, it has to be shipped to you and shipping does cost. Unfortunately there is no way around the price of getting a cup holder for the unit since they are proprietary cup holders for that unit.
It would work, you just want to be careful on where you are going and for how long. Of course different terrain will all drain the battery differently. The harder the chair is working to get through the surface, the more battery power it will use. If it is manicured lawns and such, you shouldn't have any problem.
The Gochair and the ComfyGo are the most affordable units. I wouldnt consider them rugged, but they should be able to handle hard packed grass or gravel relatively easily
Good evening @Marc'sMobility. I'm searching for a lightweight travel wheelchair (easy to lift on my own) that meets the approval guidelines for airlines and cruise ships. Also, the chair needs to fit in a car or small SUV. Does your company offer extended warranties that customers can purchase in addition to the wheelchair? Do you ship to California? I'm so pleased that your video was highlighted on a wheelchair web page, I was perusing. Thank you so much for the informational reviews.
Glad to hear that our video helped you out. So all of the chairs on the top 5 best travel chairs can all go on airlines, cruise ships as well as fit in the back of a vehicle. No do not offer any extended warranties, just the manufacture warranty. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us at 800-677-6293 and we can answer your questions.

We do not bill any insurance here at Marc's. We do have financing options available on our website. You would put the unit you are wanting in your cart and go through checkout. There you would apply for financing and purchase.
It seems to me that what is paramount for a "travel" wheelchair is light weight, which most of these fail at. Why not mention the Travel Buggy Aerolux, which weighs 29 lbs (without battery, 32 with). Were you actually listing the top 5 wheelchairs for travel, or just ones that you sell?
When speaking of lightweight chairs, all of the chairs here are in the lightweight category. As opposed to other chairs which weight in around 250lbs, a 55lbs chair is lightweight. We were listing the travel lightweight chairs that we sell. Granted there may be others out there that are more lightweight but this is what we sell so we are focusing the video on items we can get vs all the lightweight on the market and we not sell half of them. Hope this makes sense.
There were 5 chairs in this video, which one were you wanting a price on? If you look under the video in the description, there are links to each of the 5 units in this video which would give you price and under the specifications tab on each of the pages will show you the spec of each chair. Hope this helps!
We have quite a few chairs that has a weight capacity of 400lbs and more but not in a lightweight travel category. If you could, give us a call at 800-677-6293 and we can ask some questions to narrow down the best chair for you and your needs. Once we have an idea of what you are needing, we can give you some prices.
If you look in the description box under the video, it will give links to every unit being reviewed. If you click on the links it will take you to our website for each of these units and give you prices, specs and other information. Hope this helps point you in the direction to finding the prices on these units.
I have one from Forcemech that tops out at 400 pounds… I don’t weigh even half that so cannot vouch for how it would perform at that capacity but can attest to it being heavy duty and quite weather resistant. I’ve run it through several Florida deluges including wading through puddles and off-roading through some muddy paths in it a couple times when a paved path was deeper than the wheel connectors. It’s not specifically intended for rugged use as a rule but performed when I needed it to.
Which one were you interested in? Just a heads up, on all of our videos there is a description box below the video. In the description box, you will find a link to the unit(s) being reviewed in the video. There you can click on the links which will take you right to the units webpage showing you the information on the unit, price, specifications and much more. Hope this helps point you in the right direction to finding the price on the unit you are interested in. Feel free to give us a call at 800-677-6293 and let us know if we can help or if you have any questions needing answered.
Prices can fluctuate and change from what they were when this video was made, but there is links in the description showing every product in the video and their current price. Hope this help!
I’m going to be assessed later this month by Medicare. I have no idea what they might offer me, but I am afraid it’s not going to be as good as some of these you mention.
@@pjjj8117 Advocate for yourself or have someone who can. Wheelchairs are a necessity. It's a life extension for a disabled person. Your wheelchair is your "automobile", your "mobility aide" and your "bestie". The assessment should have all your medical needs taken into consideration. You don't have to say 'yes' to the first recommendation. Ask questions about warranties, service and repair options, etc.
I agree here and this coming from someone who is paralyzed and in a wheelchair themselves (Adam). I consider my chair just as important to get around than feet are with able bodied people. This is the only way we get around and like @CCMetaTraveler mentioned, advocate for yourself or have someone to do so for you where they will take into account your medical needs and yes you do not have to take the first option they recommend. Its a recommendation and you can say lets look into something else that is more suited to me and my needs. I'm glad CCMetaTraveler commented here and its a great recommendation for @pjjj8117
Actually, there are links to our website on all of the units in this video. They are all in the description box beneath the video. If we put the price of them on the video we would be flagged on TH-cam so cause of their guidelines we cannot if we want to keep putting out videos for people. Take a look at the description box and click on the links and you will find pricing, descriptions, specifications and other information. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

The unit could go into the belly of a plane, it wouldn't freeze or damage the unit in the belly of the plane. We speak with a lot of customers that take their chairs on a plane with no issues including myself (Adam).

How about whill model fi?
Yes that could be an honorable mention as well it just didnt make our top 5 list.
How does the jazzy carbon handle light terrain? Inclines, grass, dirt paths, gravel? I'm a mom and want to go with my kids to outdoor events.

Is the ComfyGo probably the best affordable option? I am looking for something rugged enough for outdoor use grass/gravel etc. Thanks

Know of any with a 400lb capacity for my Dad?
Not for 400lbs and over. The City 2 Plus is the highest weight capacity for a travel chair and that is 395lbs.

We don't sell that model and not aware of it so I wouldn't be able to give my opinion on that unit
