Lots of excellent info. Question: you mention booking or changing your specialty dining reservation once on board and that you should go to the venue to do so. Can you just do that from the app? Or does the atrium have a dining reservation desk where you can knock out all the specialty dining reservations? I love that you mentioned the La Strada canal MDR is the better one and only with anytime dining can you eat there. Also about using the app to book your MDR reservations vs going to the restaurant desk. Super helpful information! I’m a very detailed planner. You guys are right up my alley! Thank your for your excellent videos!

As for the smoking in the casino, you guys must not have found the "Casino Annex" which is a separate, but small, room that is non smoking tucked back behind the casino by the mid-ship elevators.
Good video. Can you get internet only on selected days when onboard versus getting the internet package for the entire sailing?

Having a cloud 9 spa but no thermal suite is a bit disappointing. I did notice the one shower (with clear glass door lol) and little whirlpool tub. I am curious as to if people are actually using it and if they’re going “European” or not. I know the saunas in the locker rooms tend to be European style which does not bother me in the least. Was curious about that little whirlpool though
We haven't been up there really as we have the hot tubs near our cabin.

I’m going on the Venezia on the first sailing out New York next week! How did you know if themed nights were happening and when? In the past I remember Carnival would send out emails for white night and stuff like that before the cruise but i haven’t gotten that in years.
We didn't know, we were unprepared. An email would be nice as you say.

We are sailing in July for our anniversary and we are Vegan for health reasons and I have been trying to reach out to various carnival staff etc for info about a vegan menu. We were on the Magic in May and had a hard time so trying to plan a little better. Would you be able to request that and share? Thanks for all you do!!!
We haven't seen anything on the menu marked vegan. There has been some vegetarian food. They might have it and you have to ask, but it isn't on the menus.

No, it is the hotspot on your phone that you can turn on, nothing extra to bring.

Hello this is my first carnival ship, The My Time dining you mentioned.... Is that the set time frame we picked for dinner when reserving, I believe ours is 5:30-7:30 or did you pick out a specific hour you would be dining nightly
No specific time, it just means you can go anytime you want.
Did your cabin have the euro style outlet - type C (i think) ? great vid!

Do you have to use any software app on your phone in order to do the hotspot on your phone. I ask because I noticed that you were in airplane mode and most android devices will disable Wi-Fi mode if in airplane mode. Thank you in advance.
I'm assuming you got the top internet package to get 87 Mbps. Any idea what you get in the basic package? Is there a cap on how much data you download?

Yes we have the top package, no limits, it has been worth it. I'm not sure how fast the medium package is.

I was on the Msc meravalia ship in April 2023 going my first time on carnival Venecia April 2024 this ship looks small compared to meravalia

Do you recommend this ship for fun things for small children aged to 2 to 6. I did not see a splash pad pool gor kids or dr seus parade. Do they?

Thanks! I just checked out your cabin. It is in the middle of the ship. It took me 58 steps to get to the nearest elevator.

the non smoking casino is super small and then the other casinos so bad. I actually smell cigarettes and weed in a lot of the ship today .
Will using the hotspot cause any roaming fees? Can u still use hotpot in airplane mode?
No you should use the hotspot on airplane mode. It works on Android but not Apple.
Will the hotspot work if the phone is in airplane mode?
Our Android works in airplane mode but iPhones don't.
