Alloys are headache in general. Prone for dent/crack if you hit a bump or pothole in speed. And then replacment is only solution. Alloy adgantages are marginal.

Alloy wheels are lighter, which usually help during tyre changes, but has no effect on fuel economy. Period. Theory ko side me rakho. I have 2 i20s at home. One with alloy and the other with steel rim. Fuel economy is exactly same.

Just a quick question - if what you are saying is true then why now days all car manufactures are giving alloys be it a BMW or Santro. I believe company gives something after doing complete R&D. They give steel rim on lower model is just because they are cheap. So it’s simple if you are paying more you’ll get better. I would say if people can afford then they should probably go for it.

It's as good as buying gold or diamonds without checking the carats & grade.

Dnt install alloy wheels on your car, my personal experience,
Alloy used to break, but on the other hand steel rim never gets break,
And i agree breaking is better on alloy but fuel efficiency is better on steel rims

Dear want to tell you that “Plati” alloys are made in china, it’s Ludhiana based tyre dealer Monga Tyres which is importer if Plati, Plati is their own brand. It’s not Indian
it's from Taiwan not china.

In short, alloys wheels are anytime better than steel wheels if you are driving in normal road. But if you are driving in off road go for steel wheels without thinking.
My old wagonR neo alloy got bent and I sold car as it started wobbling over 80kmph! I was frustrated with alloys so never got them again!

Muje ecosport ke tyre replace karne he. Unka size 205/60r 16 he, konse tyre acche rahenge. Muje all session type tyre chahiye jo comfort de, jiski dry and wet breaking acchi ho noise kam ho, mene do brand select kiye he continental aur appollo ya fir koi aur brand accha ho to bataeyega and thoda economical bhi hona chaiye. Does we keep nitrogen in tubeless tyres for alloy rim ? (In context of rusting /corrosion or any reason )
Nitrongen has really no benefit, it has been tested on racing cars, even in racing nitrogen is not used. Now think think and think, india is place where one industry can fold millions
Nitrogen is used because compared to natural air nitrogen doesn't expand or shrink due to temperature change so the pressure inside the tyre remains constant throughout the journey.

Aftermarket alloys are only for show and it is made from iron so it decrease milage
