    "We Rise by Lifting Others" is such a beautiful quote and, like Nancy below, I thought this was the perfect sentiment for what you do for all of us. You share not only your creativity but your inner beauty and kindness. We are blessed to have you. Your cards are gorgeous as always and the template idea you shared is absolute genius! What a complete time-saver once you've gotten it made. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope your week is off to a great start. ~HUGS~

    Tfs! I note that you are using acrylic stamps but I don't see the black rubber mat that goes under the cardstock when using acrylic stamps with MISTI. Is this a new tip for using layered acrylic stamps with MISTI?

    Glad ranger finally came up with this tool. I have been using cheap eyeshadow applicators for years though and they are great for getting in the nooks and crannies of die cuts etc and at only a couple of dollars for a dozen or so, I think i might stick with them for economy and storage ease ( and they are already in each colour that i have )

    I find that I get different results depending on the order in which I stamp the inks. So my light-medium-dark has much more definition than my dark-light-medium because the light ink softens up my dark color quite a bit. Do you have the same results? I'm wondering if it's a function of the inks (I'm using Altenew inks) or if it's a paper thing.

    • @jennifermcguireink
      @jennifermcguireink  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can heat set between or stamp all layers quickly then heat set at end. i like when they blend. most inks will do this.

    Jennifer, I have to say, you rise ALL of us! However, I have to admit, just this past week I have unsubscribed to MANY bloggers and companies as I am finding it overwhelming both the influx of emails and the 'sway' to buy never ending new products. For myself with an expensive hobby and no income, I am finding it too time consuming (and depressing) as not all of us can 'keep up'!¨However, with that being said, I am STILL following MANY bloggers and companies as I not only love their work and the companies products, I am hoping to again find time to implement what you are teaching us. I truly appreciate your time, effort and talent and am looking forward to finally trying some of your ideas.
    These cards and techniques are all amazing and helpful tips and I am anxious to try them. Thanks for sharing. HUGS!

  • @rosycheek6709
    @rosycheek6709 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I LOVE this!! Thank you! I always thought I'd like to die cut first but worried it would be hard to line up the stamps. The reason I thought cutting first made sense is that some of my stamps have fine details (for example a stem) and as they are very bendy, it's difficult to line up the die after stamping.
    One question though, do you heat set between layers? I found on some of my papers, the ink didn't dry quickly, so the next layer didn't look crisp.

  • @rebeccanieves-pagan86

    I'm sure you've heard this over and over, but you're a genius! I stay away from my layering stamps because it is such a pain for me to line them up properly and I am always disappointed with the result even using the MISTI. This idea is the best. I cannot wait to try it out! Thank you for sharing your creativity! Big hugs!
