Denver was up by 20 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd. Mike Conley and NAW were like 3/16 from the field, Ant finished 6/24. Denver had all the momentum, home crowd, the MVP, and honestly some favorable calls go their way.
And yet some 22 year old and 2 of the most hated “soft” big men beat the defending champions by 8 pts on the road in Game 7 🔥
Both teams shot equally as poorly. MPJ, AG & KCP shot 6 of 23.
The most significant difference was in free throws: Minnesota 30 vs 16 for Denver

“I’ve actually been lower on McDaniels now then I was before this series?” His defense has been elite and last 2 games of series down 2-3 in series he’s averaging 22 6 3stocks on 75/67/89. Just like MPJ murdered Rui in that series games 6-7 Jaden murdered MPJ. That was massive. What’s funny is in this game McDaniels went off. 😅
Also even though KAT can have bad IQ on court he’s considered a “good dude” by many and won social nba award. Also has had real tough life losing a lot of loved ones and dealt with it like a pro. Also KAT was massive in this series and big reason why Wolves won series. In 4 games they won he averaged 20 10 3 on 58% FG% and hit a lot of timely shots.

From the beginning of the playoffs it did not seem like this team was all-in compared to last season. I honestly feel that even if we had made it past the Wolves that we wouldn't have been able to stay off the other remaining teams. Tough loss and even more disappointing performace at the end. I really respect the Denver fans and podcasters. They are very honest and this was a tough series. I think everyone knew OKC was not a true number one and unfortunately this should have been a WCF matchup that ended up in the semifinals. I think 🤔 if the nuggets had won they would repeat as champs, but I still don’t know about how my wolves will respond but excited to find out.
