    I live in Torbay Devon and I have seen several over the years with fruit but they are not the edible tropical fruit variety. Passiflora caerulea is the common variety most people see with the blue flowers. I think the leaves, unripe fruits and seeds can be toxic.

    Hi Jim, mine go like that all the time, orange fruit. That variety is bred for it's flowers not the fruit, If you burst one open you'll see it's dry inside, not juicy as you wood want from the fruit. Like the comment below they're not really edible. Flowers look great though.

    Mine fruit every year, but it's just full of seeds when you open it. They self seed all over the place. Are you growing edulis or caerulea? I think edulis is the true passion fruit. I have caerulea

      @jasonspalmparadise I have no idea what type, it as blue/ white flowers. They where given to me a tiny seedlings.
      I might grow same from seed next year then 👍 cheers
