And if you all get that newer one, just so you guys know all parts for all push mowers are interchangeable when it comes to the handles and crossmembers and wheels
I just bought a Yardmax 22 inch. I filled oil into it and left it in the garage for the next day and found it leaking all the oil from the bottom of the lawn mower onto my garage floor. Wth!?! What a piece of shit! Help?
This is a terrible brand. If it breaks down, no repair shop will touch this brand. They don't recognize it and they don't have parts. Don't waste your money
Lemme tell ya something. STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING CALLED YARDMAX! Chinese junk! I bought a ‘22 around 5-15-23 and used it only about 5-6 times. It is made with extremely cheap components. The plastic knobs for closing and locking the handle broke off. The height adjustment broke off. The front wheel broke as I was using it and the axle came out off place. The plastic for the undercarriage cracked in two requiring its complete removal. That cover the belt and pulleys for the self propel assembly. Needles to say, that can no longer by used. Oh and the rear chute prong connector broke cleanly off. Surprising no engine issues (yet) and it will cut serious grass-provided you have patching up skills. THIS POS IS CHEAP FOR A REASON AND YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!
The engine is made in the states, everything else is made in China and good luck finding a 25or 30 year old made in the USA lawn mower, that still runs.

Cheap Chinese made rubbish.... for $ 150 you can get used American made mower that will last you 20 or more years care free.
