Great reaction. So far they have only done 2 concerts outside of Japan with the elaborate staging (Wembley Arena in 2016, the LA Forum in 2019), so you would have to go to see them in Japan to see one of these big arena concerts with all the moving stages, lasers, pyro etc.
What is more amazing is that they will only use the same set up for one or two shows and at the next venue it will be another different huge and elaborate stage design and layout.🤘
'Divine Attack' was the first single they released following their hiatus and in advance of the album ... and it is special for more than that.
When they first heard the demo Su said this song reminded her of one of her own favourite songs 'Road of Resistance' and she said she wanted to write the lyrics ... which is exactly what she did.
So Su-metal has her first official writing credit as lyricist for this one.📝🦊

    ⚡ 💕 🍑 / 🐎💥
The production and performance on 'Divine Attack - Shingeki' is top notch, but there isn't really any excuse for it not to be.
Music and arrangement are by MEGMETAL (Wada Megumi) and Hayato Yamamoto.
MEGMETAL was heavily involved in the 'Metal Galaxy' album.
Lyrics for this song are by Su-metal. She's a promising young songwriter from Hiroshima. : )
This is the first BABYMETAL song she wrote the lyrics for. Hope there are more to come.

    Nice reaction, thanks!
"Divine attack" is an excellent song, well structured, elegant, with a smooth drive, cool drum & bass parts, a nice orchestral touch, some heavy riffing and, of course Su-metal's amazing vocals. Not to mention that she is credited for the lyrics on this one for the first time. That's a really big achievement for her and (in her own words) a "dream" and "a final goal in life".
You were really spot on about the meaning of the lyrics. They are is inspired by "Road of Resistance" as Suzuka herself mentioned, but there is a turn here: it's a direct call to action: stand up and prepare for battle (probably in a figurative way). So cool and well played. We have here a great lyricist. 😁
They have performed only two arena-size shows outside Japan: at the SSE Arena Wembley in London (2016) and at The Forum in LA (2019). So, generally, these large-scale shows can only be experienced in Japan. I still regret not applying to see these PIA Arena concerts last year... lesson learned, haha...

LOL, your graphics for those who aren't subscribed were funny. Too bad I can't subscribe twice 🤣!
This is such an underrated song, but it is definitely one of my most listened to on my playlist. "Battle-Maidens" sums this song up nicely!
Also, I'm glad you enjoyed the lyrics and the meaning of this song. This was Su-metal's first song as a credited lyricist, and I think she absolutely crushed it, and the performance as always!
As others have mentioned, Babymetal has only done major arena show productions like this in 2016 at SSE Aena Wembley in London, and in 2019 at the LA Forum outside of Japan. I sure hope they do more Arena shows internationally, especially in the US! I will absolutely make a trip to see that 🤞🤞.

Koba has elaborate ideas, and team BABYMETAL have to try to put them into action, and rein him at the same time. These concerts are pretty much Japan exclusive, with the exception of a couple of shows that were outside of Japan prior. Though they may do them again.

Babymetal only do these epic stage setups for their big stadium shows in Japan. When they go on tour overseas, the show is scaled down and it's just the girls and the Kami band on stage, with a video screen behind them. The tour shows are fun in a different way because you get to see them up in a way that you can't at the big shows. I've seen them live in a bunch of different settings, including at PIA Arena for this particular show, but I've also seen them at tour shows as well and both are great in different ways.

Babymetal can only do such stages because they are a 1 off (they only use it ones or like 2 days in a row), so they don't have to pay for traveling with it.
They've almost exclusively only done this in Japan, where they have their biggest crows. BUT they also had for 2 album released a concert outside of Japan, which was:
Wembley Arena, UK 2016, 12 500 people for the Metal Resistance album release
The Forum, near LA, in the US, 2019, 16 ? 000 people for the Metal Galaxy album release
Their biggest own she, with a really crazy stage setup: 2 days of Tokyo Dome 2016, as the closer of that 2016 tour, 55 000 people per night.

    Nice reaction as always.
One thing you notice is that, in Japan at least, you don't so much get a concert as a show. The sets and production values are exceptional and must cost a fortune to put together which is testimony to how big they are.
A good example of this, and one of my favourites, is Metal Kingdom. There's an official version with just Su & Moa and a PIA Arena 2023 version which also has Momo. I'd go for the official as it has more spectacle but they're both good.

10% is not that bad, some reactors are only at 1-3%, 30% is really good based on what I have seen. I think 34% was the highest I have seen reported.

Thanks for the reaction, their shows are just at a different level. I read that Su wrote the lyrics for this song, her first credit. The majority of the most elaborate shows are normally in Japan, but with their increased popularity world-wide, if the venue is large enough, they may start bringing the large sets overseas (Wembley in 2016 in the UK was pretty epic. For one of (IMHO) best songs was "Akatsuki" - here's the link to the MV (it has a logo over it to prevent blocking) th-cam.com/video/aEhDZSwYN24/w-d-xo.html - the details contains the link to the un-watermaked video - you can show the logo video while watching the un-logo video.

A lot of reactors said that Babymetal song sounds like fight song for anime. Well...this song indeed qualifies for the fight song in Babymetal storyline.
This is the first return song for Babymetal from hiatus. You can tell by their choreography. In the beginning, they were still like three statues and the intro sounded like on an ancient Asia temple. Then, the guardian Moa & Momo slowly standup from a sitting Fox position. And then, there were some fighting dance, wielding and twisting swords. In the end, while everything was neutralised, they slowly returned to stone mode.
    Love this choreography.
However, it the MV, the visiualizer show an Angel's statue, commonly be seen in cemetery, with swords surround it. Su and Moa as horsemen came back from dead for saving the world again.

I still say this could have easily been the opening (or closing) theme to "Attack on Titan".

Wearing the iridescent armour of the Fox god. Those stages have to cost a lot (saw a sound engineer estimate $1m+) , so you have to be able to charge lots & be sure to fill it.
