Not getting sick of the prep at all, that's part of why the channel is so good, we see the whole picture. So no worries.
Thanks!
I agree 100%
Was that a corn dog ?
And I’m a 75 y.o. woman and I enjoy it as well. Especially when little Sonnie participates. Buying corn at the store misses all the real work that goes into it.
Nothing that you and Brain work on is boring. I am always impressed with the things you two can tear apart and put to rights! Keep up the excellent job!
I'm always amazed at how they keep track of all the nitty-gritty maintenance chores!
Thank you Brian for not wasting the "flathead joke" opportunity hehe
Never get sick of any of the content of your videos Cole.
I think you two have proven over and over that you can build or repair anything!!!!! Awesome 💯 !!!! ❤️🙏🇺🇲
Watching Sonny eating corn brought back memories. My mom had a black and tan bloodhound we used for coyote and racoon hunting. She loved fresh veggies and would tear ears of corn off the stalks in moms garden. She'd sit in the sun, tear the husk off and slowly remove every kernal from the cob. She also loved potatoes and carrots and would dig them up. Mom got a kick out of it, and the dog would follow her around as she worked in the garden hoping to be tossed something as mom thinned the veggies. She'd even eat turnips. Which was great because I'd give her mine. Hated the dang things.
Preventative maintenance and prepping all part of smart farming or anything else in life. Enjoy these videos
I don’t think we’re getting tired of all the prep. Nice to see how you deal with all the problems.
I learn as much from the prep work, as I do from the farming. It’s fascinating to me, and incredulous, just how much there is to do, to get ready to farm . I’m sure that both of you are unaware, just how much knowledge you possess., outside of farming . Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, pharmacological ,medical, hardware savvy, all, in order to drive a tractor, planter, harvester, bush hog, semi truck driver skills. You would be able to get a job in ANY of those professions.
Cole, your videos show the world that farming isn’t just about sitting on a tractor and planting seed and reaping harvest. Or feeding some head of cattle and selling them off at the barn. The number of diverse skills a farmer needs to keep his farm running, is amazing. Never boring. Always part of the story. You and Brain are great and thank you for sharing.
thankyou!
I've watched every video of Sonne Farms for years. I thank you all for sharing your farm and machine prep with us. Outstanding, as always.
Thanks 👍
Farming entails more than just planting and harvesting. It is a science of its own, I am learning.
Sonny sure likes helping out
It's good the you all show the tedious parts of farming. Many of us have no clue about all the maintenance that needs to be done on a constant basis. Good job!
We're not sick of it Cole, keep it up. Non-rehearsed, real, and informative. Thanks for taking the time to record, edit, and produce the videos.
Hey Cole and Brian. All of your content is interesting. We enjoy every video. Livestock, harvest, hauling , dog on rat patrol, etc.. It's ALL great. Thks!
There is almost nothing cuter than a Corgi puppy! He's turning into quite the farm dog. Hopefully, he gets to come into the garage with Ellie in the winter.
Good to see the old rake getting a new lease on life.
Brian and Cole are real, this is every day for a farmer great job. from 1 farmer to an other
Cole, your videos are never tiring and boring. They are the best. You cover all the aspects of farming and ranching. Not just the fun and highlights. Prep and maintenance are a huge part of an operation like yours. Especially when you have as much invested in high-end equipment as you and Brian do on an operation the size of yours. You are protecting your investments. And it's one of the reasons you have so few breakdowns. (having all that shiny newer Deere equipment may have a lot to do with that too. Lol😊) You are showing and educating non-farming people in EVERYTHING that is involved in a farm and ranch operation. And you guys do it right. Farming is no longer just a way of life. It is a business, and you have to run it like a business. And you and Brian are top notch man. I've said this before, I admire the way you and Brian work together. You're never rushing things. Just working at a modest pace, and you get so much done. You plan your work, and you work your plan. Watching you two really, really makes me miss my dad and working beside him. 😢 Cherish the fact that you get to do that Cole.... And then, there is tiny dog. He is quickly becoming the star of show! You just gotta love him! Gives Elie a chance to slow down a little... You all stay safe out there!
Agreed. Small farmer/rancher here and the videos are both entertaining but instructive. Thank you.
Prep work is what makes the farming dream work. I’m here for all the content. Have a great day Cole and Brian!❤
I never get sick of watching you guys do everyday chores, that is why I watch. I also an amazed at how you keep the camera so steady! Love these videos!!
Cole and Dad Brian thank you both for sharing everything. I just enjoy watching what you do.God bless you and your families.
The wheels on the rake go round and round
Cole, your puppy loves going to work with you every day!
It’s nice to see your father and son working together memories you’ll have forever
Watched Cole on red e! It was so good. Thanks for sharing about your faith and sharing scripture! Also so excited for you and Tiffany and the baby!! Congratulations! We will be praying for you!!
You two wear me out! Wow! Thanks for another busy video.
Nope never getting bored of prep and everything on Sonne Farms.

One thing about farming is that there is always something to fix thanks for sharing
Y’all do a Great job just being , Your Dad and Uncle and you , hell of an operation !!
Awesome video and repairs guys. Awesome farm guys..Thank you Sonnes so much

Your little puppy is so brave. 😂😂😂😂😂
Will never get sick of the videos, each one has its place!
Love your hard working security staff! I'm sure Ellie is enjoying the help! 😅
Never get tired of Sonne Farms, no matter what you are doing. Thanks for sharing your farm with us!
It's a good day when you can complete a little project on the farm.
Hi to all three of you guys from Indiana
Great video. Love that little dog. Nice work on the plexiglass window protector.
Never boring love how you always come up with a solution for everything on the farm between yourselves 🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have often been amazed at the huge variety of skills a farmer needs to be successful in his business. Carpentry, welding, veterinary skills, mechanics and many more. Not to mention managing time and planning! Cole and Brian do it all very well. I just get a kick out of little Sonny! Did you ever find what he was growling at?
Omg I love your dog. Good ol’ cob of corn to start the day and a chunk of raccoon for dinner, wonder what he’s planning for supper!😂🤣 Love watching you do maintenance and repairs on all the equipment you use. What incredible machines they are, and the strength they have. Very impressive. ❤❤
Love watching. Keep up the good work.
Fixing is a just another part of farming. Love video. ❤
Congratulations COLE AND TIFFANY on starting YOUR FAMILY
The banter between you two is entertaining no matter what you guys are doing. The content is great but people watch for your personalities and wholesome interaction. I'm not sure if you realize how many people are caused to rethink the way they lived their life watching yours.
Good morning from Lazear Colorado, always enjoying your channel.
Not sick of it Cole. Enjoy all your vids, thanks
You sure have to be a “Jack of all trades”. Amazing all the projects you do just to run a farm
We welded two bolts to each side of the cab frame. Then attached a sheet of expanded metal for the same reason.
These john deere machinery on this farm must be the cleanest of most farms anywhere
Always impressed with your ingenuity at problem solving. Praying for an abundant harvest.
While I enjoy the harvest videos, it’s all of the farm life/prep videos that truly makes your channel stand out! Thank you
Wow, thank you!
congrats Dad and Grampa! Thanks for the videos. been watchin several years.
All the maintenance is very interesting and the foundation of excellent farm practices. Don’t stop otherwise we don’t get the whole picture of what it takes to get our food to my table. Thanks for taking the time to share your life with us. I am sure it takes a lot of time to produce this for us. THANKS
Sir, I never get sick of anything that you guys do. I enjoy watching what makes a farm tick....whether it's greasing a machine, or fabricating some whiz bang plexiglass contraption. Thanks for sharing all of it.
Love the prep, the maintenace, the upgrades, all the "other" work that goes into farming.
I have watched your channel for some time but it wasn;t until yesterday you said something that really impressed me. You were being interviewed at some farm show by a machinery dealer. And you mentioned how important God was in your life. Good for you. I hope you can pass that faith on to your children.
Love watching you and Brian doing your thing. Was watching one of your shorts and CONGRATULATIONS to you and your family.in joy the ride.
I like that little dog keeps u thinking and tripping. Lol
Exciting times 😊 hope you have a great harvest with no problems.
Cole, your comment of, we might be getting tired of watching prep videos. Welllllll, if they want to know what it takes or what a farmer does day to day. They will enjoy each one of your videos. Farming is not just riding around in a tractor or combine. You are doing great and always like your content. Keep up the good work.
Tiny dog's bent ear is so hilarious.
Got a use for the old wire wheels vs the scrap yard; next time you pour 12-14” of a concrete pad with rebar, space out the old wire wheels, cover with cement and you will have a very strong pad. Use rebar too as needed.
Great idea!
Little Dog seems to have some Jack Russell Terrier in him. Great breed. I have a Miniature Jack Russell named LuLu Lorraine. She's got vids and shorts on here. I grew up in South Dakota 30 miles south of Mitchell (The Corn Palace)
Love your vids Sonne. Thank you
nice corn dog.
Cole and Brian-I would love to buy one of your old rake wheels to add to what my children call my rusty yard art! You guys could auction them off to raise money for farm aid! Let me know- we could road trip over there today from MN. I’d take all 7!!
No way no how are we getting sick of you guys doing the work we know it comes to a very important issue when harvest comes way. Better to have all this stuff. Done ahead of time for sure you guys rock peace to you. Glad you got some rain looking forward to the harvest seasonbless you all in your families
Good idea for the back glass with the plexiglass, we don't have a cab on any of ours so for protection we use expanded metal. Good luck with the ditch hay!
Great video every time don’t worry about it. Tiny dog growing up
hes getting big!
Loved at 1.32 Sonny testing the corn moisture content 😂
I think the prep is very interesting. Sonne Farms, Master Fabricators.
Good job!
Never get tired of the fixing all interesting
Big fan of the maintenance vids. Love all your content, so thanks for everything you do!
Use a needle-type attachment on your grease gun coupler to get grease to the inside of those wheel bearings. Way more effective than greasing the cavity.
For me, all the crap and preparation you have to do IS what farmin is all about!! THAT is what makes farmers the outstanding people they are. All the EXTRA effort and work they put in EVERY dang day. Sittin in the tractor bouncing cross the field is the glorious part. The WORK it takes to get there is even more important!! Almost no body sees that part. Those going by on the road never see the banging, cussing and welding and cutting that is going on in the barn, the shed, and in the cold and snow. That is also a major part of farmin. And, to me, THE biggest part, is FABRICATING!! Making something from nothing, or from "stuff" around the yard. So much of what keeps the farm running is dreamed up and fabricated in ;the farmer's mind and hands. I feel it is a farmer's greatest skill. YOU two show the best of that. I have watched you weld masterpieces of fence and gates from plain pipe, Fixed and fabricated stuff there that did not exist before you needed it. THAT is the essence of a REAL farmer. And I love watching that in action. It is NOT trivial. Thanks for showing us Cole.
Watching you get ready for the next phase of farming is fascinating. So much to do.
I’m always interested in how you gauge how far to back up to get the equipment attached to the towing ball.
Little DOG needs butter on his corn on the cob
I definitely enjoy all your videos.
Like watching an episode of A team when Hannibal says I love when a plan comes together.
When y’all were putting the rake wheels on, the video showed you holding the nut/bolt on your side with a wrench, however you could hear the impact wrench on Brian’s side but couldn’t see it…. So for a moment I thought WHAT COOL GADGET DOES COLE HAVE NOW??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the harvest prep!
Love watching ❤️❤️❤️
❤ from Norway
Wow Cole, you bend metal the same way as I do. A big vice and a bigger hammer!!!
That plexiglass panel there looks like a moving billboard. You should sell advertising space on it -- "Eat at Joe's", that sort of thing.
Thanks for the video, always enjoy seeing what you guys are up to.
We got rain 🌧 too. I have got to transfer manue today so that those bananas can get some good minerals 😂
It's down home farm/ranch life - don't change a thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the fixing, prepping, and other stuff that catches my interest. Working with cattle is not far behind.
What's going with Brian's Song of the Day? Or has that run its course?
@@Gods33Acres yes it came to a point that i was gonna have to start doing research
Love the content!
Cole, plexiglass is an acrylic plastic and will break when impacted. It does provide some protection. For a superior impact resistane you need to look for a polycarbonate (Lexan is one of the brand names). This is much more impact resistance.
Always interesting what you two are doing
Love it when Cole and his Pa start inventing things for the farm. Window protectors, barb wire winders, ways to hold forms in place to repair concrete bunkers, etc.. I think Ron Swanson said it best "people who buy things are suckers".
Thanks 😊
Thanks for another awesome video Cole and Brian.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Your videos are never boring to watch Cole. Always and I mean always, your videos are GREAT to watch!!!!!!!
Preventive maintenance is just a fact of life on the farm. Just the way it is. You and your dad are really good at it. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!
I like the flexi glass guard window you built to protect the real glass one. Super good idea!!!!!
That should do the trick.
Sonny is very good at supervising the work you all are doing. Rides good in the pickup. Good idea to cover the seat. Good dog.
Your old hay rack looks like new with the new hay wheels on it. Fixed that real good I must say. Give it a go now.
Lots of busy work around the farm right now. Busy getting ready for harvest. Yeah.
Got the grain cart ready to go. Surprised the wheels didn’t need more attention than what you did to them. Parker makes good equipment.
Yes take the cap off the grease container before pouring-ha!!!!!’ Good catch Cole.
Ready to go for harvest time. Yeah!!!!!!
About it I guess for now. Thanks for everything. You both take good care. Be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
😊👍👋🚜✅💕🇺🇸🇺🇸
How long have you guys known Jimmy? Jimmy cracked corn. Ok, I’ll see myself out 😂
Not sick of anything!!!
