It sucks that the 4070 Super has only 12GB vRAM and a 192-bit bus.
Nvidia have clearly designed the whole lineup this gen to upsell you the more expensive item because they give you the bare minimum at every price point.

I don't know if you've seen the gtx 1080ti, you can still play practically all new games at 1080p. It's just a matter of adjustments. The 4070super is plenty with new technologies, Alan Wake with technologies enabled in 1440p more than 90fps consuming only 206w. We are not talking about consoles, PC is something else

The RTX 4070 Super would be the perfect card for 1440p if it had 16GB, the only situation i see people picking this over a RX 7900 GRE is the Ray Tracing performance and DLSS.
Sadly, at 1440p in some games if you enable Ray Tracing it already uses almost all the VRAM, you kick in DLSS it renders a lower resolution and the VRAM decreases, yes, but in Alan Wake 2 for example DLSS alone isn't enough for 60fps, so you have to enable Frame Generation, and Frame Generation uses a lot of VRAM as well 🤣
Honestly here i don't blame Nvidia at all, developers need to better optimize games and not rely in upscalers.

4070 super and 7900gre are very evenly matched for a similar price. The best deal at the moment is the 7900xt for £679.
@@ESKATEUK yeah i know. Hardware unboxed Made a vid battle between those two. In 1080+1440p their performance is basiclly the Same. Only in 4K the GRE shines with 6% lead, minimal yet stil a win. But tbf Nvidia have a superior upscaling technology, the higher the resolution it gets the better it works.
Doubtful that it has made any difference. AMD is not doing very well GPU sales wise, even they themselves admitted it recently. Nvidia's doing better than ever right now. Their marketing is just too good.
Still, I think it's a little unfair, the 4060 is a 1080p card. In fact, any resolution is unfair at this point, the 4070 Super is toutet as 1440p, already. With a price of "only" $300, the 4060 comes dangerously close becoming viable as an intermediate step, while waiting for future generation GPUs.

4070 super is the best card nvidia has ever releqsed for price/performance. Yes ever. Yhe 4090 is just an absolute monster biggest uplift between flagships every produced. Even the 4070s is almoat equal to the 3090 and it beats it out with dlss3 and frame generation on. By like 30fps no joke and with ray tracing. Dlss3 and frame generation changed everything. Even makes the 4060 look fine when its on which nobody expected.
For Pre-built desktops with at least 32gb ram and 2tb ssd. 4070 super has by far best value. I usually find them with the specs want around 1700 at the time of this post. 4080 super about 2300, not worth the extra 600 at all. 4090, FORGET IT

Entiendo que la 4060 es una basura como la mayoria comentan pero la estoy probando y no decepciona ❤ , es mucho mejor que la 3060 de 12gb hasta un 15% en la mayoria de juegos pero hablemos de precios $280 dlls 😮 es la mejor targeta que existe en ese rango, ya que la 4070 cuesta 600dlls y no se diga la 4080 y 4090 que practicamente valen 4 a 6 veces mas 😂😂😂el consumo tambien se dispara y requieres una 80 gold de 800 watts que para nada son baratas.
La 4060 no es basura, simplemente no es tarjeta para 1440p, si la comparas con todas las demás de su generación en esa resolución es obvio q perderá, pero si la pones en 1080p no decepciona y como ya tu mismo dijiste, rinde mejor q la 3060 de 12gb y con menos consumo. Además los settings de este benchmark son basura. El video es basura en general.
The 4090 is the only next gen card with 0.1% lows being close to 1%, therefore you will not feel any jerkiness. 4070S is probably the next best as it appears stable too though lower framerate though. Never bother looking at highs or averages. Sure your car can drive fast but if it rattles then you won't enjoy the ride. That 4060 is a joke, might aswell call it a 4030.

4060 слабовата. Это хорошо видно на примере киберпанка. В киберпанке шаг между картами 4070-4080-4090 ровно 24 кадра - 78-102-126 кадров. Логично было бы у 4060 ожидать около 54 кадров, но у нее всего 39. И такая тенденция прослеживается в большинстве игр. Между нынешней 4060 и 4070 по хорошему должна быть еще одна карта. Настоящая 4060. Потому как текущая 4060 по цифрам тянет скорее на 4050.

Какой шаг, что ты несешь, просто в киберпанке так совпало или нарисовал автор канала, соотношение цена/фпс тут у всех закономерно, кроме 4090, так как при х6 цене от 4060,она не выдает х6 фпс. И между 4060 и 4070супер как бы еще две карты есть-4060ти и 4070, поэтому и разница такая существенная. 4060 никак не может быть 4050, ориентируясь на прошлые поколения 1050,1650 и 3050- максимально убогие карты, которые хуже предыдущих поколений **60 серии, а 4060,хоть и немного, но лучше 3060, так что тут ваша конспирологическая теория рушится.

Buying 4090 you pay more for "the most powerful GPU today" title, but it's like new Iphone. 3090ti is not looking like a good buy after 4000 series. You should pay for FPS/price, not for title. 4090 should cost 1300$ maximum. 4080Super is the best choice for 4K gaming, cos it costs 1000$.

Так и есть. У меня 2К монитор был с 4080 Super в God Of War ФПС был на море 115фпс, а до 160 фпс доходил лишь в закрытых помещениях. 165фпс было лишь в некоторых играх.
Но я должен сказать, что 165фпс вообще не нужны. Лично я не видел разницу между 110фпс и 165фпс, только на счетчике кадров.
У меня сейчас 160герцовый 4К монитор. ФПС просел до 90-100, и я в этом плане не страдаю.
Единственное, что я хотел бы от повышенной герцовки, чтобы при резком повороте камеры изображение оставалось резким, чтобы не было разрывов. Но повышенная герцовка этому не способствует. Даже на 240Гц все равно будут эти разрывы (не путать с G-Sync, он включен). Лучшая иллюстрация это АВАТАР - крутиться по кругу и видны эти разрывы. В играх с большей размытостью в движении это меньше заметно.

It was even worse in 3000, when 3090 was +10% 3080. 4090 has 20-30%, but price is insane. I prefer 4080 super for 1000$ and buy new videocard in future, but I'm not ready to pay 2000$ for 4090.

@davehenderson6896 Sounds like a 4080 owner. The 4090 definitely isn't worth getting nowadays due to the inflated prices. At launch, however, literally made no sense to buy the 4080 over the 4090 when it was just a few hundred dollars extra.
@dessso4463 Difference is bigger than that most of the time. Between two tiers of cards, that's pretty insane. You were lucky to get more than a 5% boost from the 3080 to the 3090.
