What more could he have done with Powell as a defensive anchor… people really do believe that we had a team since the kyrie trade when in reality the kyrie trade was a reset to start building again, it was a rebuild around 2 players and people expected Kidd to do lemonade out of rotten tomatoes. This things take time and when coach Kidd says something he’s talking from a perspective of a champion as a player, champion as an assistant coach and an hall of famer as a player. Mavs fans will miss this man when he’s gone because some people that don’t know the reality of the NBA think coach Kidd is bad… the only reason I would like another coach is to mock everyone who says Kidd as to go, y’all really don’t know how hard it is to have a championship coach.
