Why does luka insist on doing absolutely nothing when the ball is not in his hands on offense, especially now that he's got a guy like Kyrie on his team to dribble too? Does jj actually think luka has been good on defense? He's had moments of a steal or a rotation, but defense is not about moments it's about the totality and Luka has way more mediocre or bad plays than good ones. 11 straight wins
If Mavs can rise up the standings Luka should def be top 3 in the MVP race.
every good teammate is a buffer...but the west has so many good teams...we'll see in the playoffs.
It annoys me a little that JJ won't press luka on certain things. Why does luka not play in transition AT ALL now compared to in Europe where he was great at it? Why does luka insist on doing absolutely nothing when the ball is not in his hands on offense, especially now that he's got a guy like Kyrie on his team to dribble too? Does jj actually think luka has been good on defense? He's had moments of a steal or a rotation, but defense is not about moments it's about the totality and Luka has way more mediocre or bad plays than good ones. Luka is an absolutely astonishingly great player, but he has certain flaws and it's unfortunate that JJ was more interested in making the podcast feel inviting to players than really unpacking some of the genuine concerns people have about his game.
Well this is how he gets guys like Luka to return.
Gotta get Kyrie on here I know he isn’t a media guy but I feel like he can trust jj
Luka step back 🐰
They showed the wrong replay …
Mavs should get into the playoffs as the 8 seed I think
Nah now kyrie is back + they've made good trades + their schedule is far easier than Suns, Pelicans and Kings.
They'll be number 5
@@Kushagra.j nah 7 at best
It’s a 2 game difference 5-8, wide open.

@@KrisGarlandthey can and will get 5th seed. Kyrie and lively have missed close to 20 games in a 50 game season so far. Them coming back along with pj Washington and gafford additions. They should be able to hit 50 wins.
why is he answering too safe with the questions? this wasnt supposed to be an interview.
Yow I didn’t know it was Kyrie who made that dunk. Damn!
Luka Thinks He Averages 7 Rebounds Lol That Man Is Averaging 9 Rebounds Right Now… I Actually Like The Fact That He Doesn’t Know His Own Stats
Shout out to J Kidd
He still seems really sensitive to any criticism or questions... or is he just joking and very deadpan? Hard to tell... but given his CONSTANT whining on the court, I think it's being sensitive.
Nah that’s just European sense of humour
Not like everybody thought...
But he does.
Everyone expected Luka40+ Kyrie 30. Which they do 30-30 time 2 time.
But why he fits in is he simply can take over a game...le Lukah rest now & then.
Exactly.
I wonder why Luka traded Grant away.
because he’s unserious
