That moment that you realize from the intro and the blurb about Killia being a talented singer, that Kill Real and Lieze Rock are actually both being sung by him, making the music diegetic. That follow up moment when you realize that this song is Killia’s take on Lieze’s Lullaby. Implying that she may have sung said lullaby to him before. This is actually one of my favorite final boss themes in the series, and a big part of it is because of how much Killia himself has grown.
When I first played the game. I was not grinding hardcore to be op at all. Just doing what I needed to do to progress the story. Then get to this level, getting pumped up and rushing into the fight to see my units get decimated. Then look at the enemy levels and be like this was a terrible decision. Was my pocket universe song forever, still is. I still love Disgaea 5 more then D6. I still play D6, has some good things, but its story and music is weak to previous titles. Hope they add more classes to it.
Of the opening, yes, but this particular theme is done by Tenpei Sato. The description is wrong. It's very clearly Tenpei Sato's voice, especially when you compare the song against all of the other songs he sang in the Disgaea series.
Lyrics, copied from Hyoda on a lower quality upload: In this sky was a lost blue world raining love bit by bit wow wow wow I guess we were a little tired from running Sorry for not being strong wow wow wow Crying and losing your voice the scratching feeling from your throat tear lines down your cheeks wow wow wow Sunset blurred wings Steeped in tears color Dreams spilled from your fingers I want to protect you gently A person's drops of hope that quickly disappear I'll give to their hearts Or a prayer, not becoming a voice Lost to distant winds Still a swaying distant memory I'd have to never forget wow wow wow I fell down many times in the slender tomorrow But there you were beside me wow wow wow The color that disappeared to the sky In his hand to stretch and try to draw a rainbow This hand paints for two Look to the wings blurred from the sunset I buried my crying face How the tears from your cheeks shimmer Someday I'll bring you to light The trembling heart is like a silhouette The lovers kiss Just now, a noise Whispers of the distant star Spread your wings blurred by the sunset Journey to the future A dream that was overflowing from your fingers as we embrace in a hug A person's drops of hope that quickly disappear I'll give to their hearts Or a prayer, not becoming a voice Lost to distant winds Wings will fly beyond the thousands of tears Wings will fly, wings will fly...

In this sky was a lost blue world
raining love bit by bit
wow wow wow
I guess we were a little tired from running
Sorry for not being strong
wow wow wow
Crying and losing your voice
the scratching feeling from your throat
tear lines down your cheeks
wow wow wow
Sunset blurred wings
Steeped in tears color
Dreams spilled from your fingers
I want to protect you gently
A person's drops of hope that quickly disappear
I'll give to their hearts
Or a prayer, not becoming a voice
Lost to distant winds
Still a swaying distant memory
I'd have to never forget
wow wow wow
I fell down many times in the slender tomorrow
But there you were beside me
wow wow wow
The color that disappeared to the sky
In his hand to stretch and try to draw a rainbow
This hand paints for two
Look to the wings blurred from the sunset
I buried my crying face
How the tears from your cheeks shimmer
Someday I'll bring you to light
The trembling heart is like a silhouette
The lovers kiss
Just now, a noise
Whispers of the distant star
Spread your wings blurred by the sunset
Journey to the future
A dream that was overflowing from your fingers
as we embrace in a hug
A person's drops of hope that quickly disappear
I'll give to their hearts
Or a prayer, not becoming a voice
Lost to distant winds
Wings will fly beyond the thousands of tears
Wings will fly, wings will fly...
Gosh dalamadang it. Do I love D5 with my whole being.
