The in-game description of the main character in the center killia states that he sung the opening because he has "The finest voice in the netherworld"
And the plot twists continue when 5 years later he journeys to the mortal realm as Stunk in Interspecies Reviewers (Same VA Junji Majima - you're not fooling me again it isn't really the same person!)
Honestly, during the ending, when Christo said "But you don't have to refer to me by my codename anymore", I thought his superior was going to say, "Oh, sure thing - Lamington".
Unfortunately, the grindy nature of the Disgaea series means it’ll never be something I can enjoy, but I’ve always been a big fan of its art style and music. The latest title is no exception in both departments - this opening theme has just the wild energy I’ve come to expect from Disgaea.
1. Grinding in disgaea is much much different than grinding in any other game. It's grinding has so much nuances that it's a game in itself. 2. Even then grinding isn't necessary the entire game can be beaten with starts alone.

RIP openings to disgaea games.

Beyond EPIC xx
Damn banger
Excellent ❤😊
That was a mix of epic rock ballad with cheesy japanese pop song. Great ^^
And German choral chanting. That's a key part of it here, lol.
This gives me OG Attack on Titan vibes. Man that's a nostalgia attack.
Oh, it must be the German lyrics that made it so familiar.

Meine Trauer, und mein Hass.
Ich schüren Hölle
= my grief and my hate
I stir up hell
No idea on the jp lyrics
Sie schüren Hölle*

Not ever game is for everyone, regardless of genre
Roguelite Item World is why I bought it on Switch. That’s why I keep playing the DS version!
I mean you could do story mode, you won't need to be level 9999 to complete it, now end game it's another story but it's optional.
