Very soothing! From his body language and the way he speaks I can tell that this artisan is giving a lucid and expert explanation of what he is doing. I feel like I get quite a bit of it, even though I can't understand a single word. Still, I enjoyed the video. Is it Korean or Japanese? I know English subtitles or translation might be impractical, or too expensive, but an English translation of at least the video title would make the video much easier to appreciate.
In so many years the whole carpentry world has made fantastic machine which have overtaken the workmanship... But still the machines make lot of noise. MACHINES MAKE the artist worthless and noise makes them deaf. Hans craftsmanship is noiseless and keeps the artist alive. Machines bring expiry to artist and make him lazy. 😉
I second the need for subtitles or an english voice over -- I was able to follow most of it, but I feel like some of the questions i have you're talking about...
