You get more entertaining as the years go by! The homesteading info is excellent, but the humor is much-needed too. 😁

This year I started an inventory of my freezers and I love it. When I put something in or take something out I mark it on the inventory. When I need something I just look over the sheet to find which freezer it is in.

The garlic scapes😂!!! Of course they appear after the fact.. That gave me a good chuckle. Hope you and Chris are doing well! Hi from Arizona 🌵

Hi, I understood that you need to add the tomato water in to whatever you are making and let it reduce. There is acidity in the liquid that is part of the safety of the preservation process.
I do love your content. It is so interesting.

I have not ever had any issues with this method, and after a quick Google (not that I trust it completely, lol) I didn't find anything suggesting it was an issue. But I do always add lemon juice to my tomato canning, 2 tbsp per quart, or 1 tbsp per pint unless it is my tomato juice, which has a lot of lemon juice already. I am glad for your comment, though, as it made me look into it 😀

I'm going to try running my berries through the food mill to get the seeds out...raspberries, etc. Have you ever tried that?

I have done raspberries with apples for apple sauce and it worked great. Never done raspberries on their own though, but ai am sure it would work.

Haha, it is killing me too. It feels like they are filling faster then emptying.
