Hello Everyone here's a great piece of work to make you ponder the meaning of life...
There is a story that goes with this short film.
We were recording Dr Busker at the Squire Recording Studio’s in Nottingham.
We had finished recording for the day when Busker suddenly tells us he has had a song whirling round his head for days. It’s for the ones who have passed away, he said. Can you imagine a “Beer Tent Far Away” where we could all meet up again for one last time? Wouldn’t that be something?
He then walked into the sound booth and recorded the song in one single take. Everyone there was left speechless when he had finished. Not a dry eye to be seen anywhere.
As I was editing this piece with old footage, tears were rolling down my cheeks as I saw all the friendly faces I have filmed over the years that I would love to meet again one last time in a “Beer Tent Far Away”.
