Many thanks for video. I definitely would send my lovely CT A9 - see DEMO - Pioneer CT A9 Cassette Deck / Blood Sweat & Tears-Spinning Wheel - to you to change all rubber stuff etc. Where are you ? Regards
Hi there, the damper for the door, on the left-hand side, how does it work? I understand that we are supposed to screw in (down) the adjustment screw to slow down the opening of the cassette door. What does this screw actually do? Is there supposed to be a little bit of silicone grease in the cylinder?
It's good that you mark the position of the mechanism wheels, but replacing the rubber wheel tread is difficult and risky. It is easier to remove the cotter pin at the front and remove the wheel with a rubber tread. Regards!
I wish you would have shown how you actually took the idler wheel apart. You just said to push with a small screwdriver from behind, but what about the little metal circle in front that holds the wheel, how did you remove it without damaging it? Also, I wish you would have filmed removing and replacing the idler tyre onto the plastic wheel.
Hi Julian, i'm sorry for my late reply. If you push out the whole pin from behind with a small screwdriver or such, the little metal disc will also come out together with the pin. It's easier than you think.
Instead of removing the axle of the idler wheel I clicked out the whole plastic unit where the wheel is part of. Before doing that you have to make some space by loosing the spring that sits in front (on the top side)of that plastic idler wheel unit.
this is the flagship cassette deck of 1985, I have almost all rubber products turned into chewing gum это флагманская кассетная дека 1985 года у меня почти все резиновые изделия превратились в жвачку
