Bass Gang has been gaining momentum for a couple of years now. You can consider Tim's collaboration to be an endorsement of young talent. This piece is a jewel in their crown.
OK, so Tim sounded fantastic-and it’s amazing that he actually did this with such a new group. So kudos to him. The Bass Gang: Beatboxer: Marwan Ayman-he also did the edits on the video (does most of the group’s videos), has an incredible voice/range, and he’s only 18. The really low note: Bobby Bass a/k/a Bobby Waters. TikTok sensation, incredible voice and super low range-plus I see here that he’s hitting those high notes and sounding awesome!! The guy in the sweater: Peter Barber-he’s a professional bass-baritone opera singer, plus he does incredible reactions where he eats way out in the deep water with the technical music stuff. The Slender guy who was drunk towards the end (LOL): is Tomi P-dude has well over a 6 octave range. He arranged this song. All the guys have their own solo channel (tho I gather Bobby does more of his work on TikTok), with extensive catalogues. I hope you will check out more by these guys because they really are fantastic, especially given they’re still just getting started and building the resources they need for top-level work. They haven’t even actually met in person yet, since they live in three different countries (two are in the US, one in the Czech Republic, and one in Egypt). They’re going to make the top three acapella group list into a top four very soon. Loved your reaction!!
Everyone loves The Bass Gang. This collab definitely did good things for them. I'd recommend checking them out. They are all really strong bass singers but they all have ridiculous upper ranges too.
The Bass Gang has existed for 2 years by now. It's a collaborations by 4 young very talented Bass singers who met om Internet. They have yet to meet in person. Still they have succeeded in making several albums together as well as each one also have very interesting solo channels. 2 Bobby Waters aka Bobby Bass from Boston. Huge on Tiktok, many collaborations with various artists. Dark hair, beard. Peter Barber. Operasinger in Philadelpia, who also have a wellrenowned reaction channel. Mostly reacts to acapella, Bass and talented singers like Dimash etc. Is edging into Metal as well. 3 Tomi P (Tomas Pisur). Tall, gangly guy from Czech republic. 4 Marwan Ayman 19 years old wonderkid from Egypt. They put out songs together, sometimes with other collaborators like Jonathan Younge and Colm McGuiness. Last Halloween they did Hide and Seek with Lauren Paley. The same song she also did with VoicePlay. Both versions equally good but very different vibes to them. VP congratulated BG on their cover. You need to listen to Mad World fr Elliott Robinson from the Bass Gang. In this song it's Marwan beat- boxing. He is also the editor of this video. They can all get almost as low as Tim and Geoff, Marwan certainly can.
The Bass Gang have done several collaborations. The Mad World cover ft. Elliott Robinson is notable because Elliott was in Home Free several years before Tim Foust joined them. Elliott then was in Street Corner Symphony when Chance came over to Home Free.
Four talented young bass singers who were over the moon to be singing with their idol. That deep note you questioned was really Bobby. Peter Barber, the guy in the sweater, has a reaction channel and he did a reaction to this because he had not seen the video yet. He was absolutely giddy. Worth a look. These guys have some really interesting videos on their own. It's almost unbelievable that they have not all met in person yet. All their videos are done from 4 (in this case 5) separate locations. Enjoy the voyage of discovery.
The Bass Gang has been out doing good stuff for a while. Their first video was Emperor's New Clothes from Panic! at the Disco. That one was a great introduction to knowing each of them individually as well as the group as a whole. But every reactor so far who knows the Bass Gang has had a massive shock with seeing Tim collabing with them. I just love them working together and the song they chose; one of my favorite songs. Check out Peter Barber's reaction(he's the guy in the tan sweater), his reaction is awesome and then he does a great job of explaining how everything came together.
Their first videos were the EP May The Bass Be With You vol 1, which were published on their individual channels. They were four covers of Billie Eilish songs.
I stumbled onto your channel a few days ago and watched all your visits to the rabbit hole of Home Free. I love your joy of discovery has you travel down that path. Smiles....
That symbol you were confused about is a bass clef. Basically it’s used in notating music to denote the really low notes. All four members of The Bass Gang are amazing bass singers, and also all have a ridiculously large range as well. Bobby Bass, real name Bobby Winters, is the guy who did THAT low note while holding the wine. He’s from Boston. Peter Barber, a classically trained operatic bass, is the guy who was goofing off hugging himself and riding the rose like it was a horse. He’s from Philadelphia. The one with the juice box is indeed the member who normally does the beatboxing, he’s from Egypt and his name’s Marwan Ayman. He’s only 19!! (Hence the juice box, he’s still underage.) The guy drinking straight out of the wine bottle and falling out of shot is Tomi P (full surname is Pizúr, and he’s from Czech Republic). The group’s manager, Casper Fox, who is himself an amazing tenor singer with some crazy low notes (check his channel out as well!) is the guy who was pretending to propose to Tomi a few seconds after he fell out of shot. He’s originally from Denmark, but currently lives in Czech Republic near to Tomi. As you can see, these guys are based all over the world and haven’t yet actually met up in person (although they plan on doing so over the summer). I hope this all helps!
Dude, now you've found the Bass Gang, you have another branch of the rabbit hole to dive down... Pick any track by them, you won't be disappointed! By the way, that deep note that messed with your head was Bobby Winters aka Bobby Bass, and the beatboxer is Marwan Ayman, primarily a bass singer but does some basic beatboxing occasionally.... and it was a juice box he had coz he's under age for drinking alcohol! lol Other members are Tomi P, and Peter Barber who is a professional opera singer... and 5hey all have incredible vocal ranges.. ENJOY!!
They're all bass singers. Bass Gang. They all idolize Tim and had been waiting for the opportunity to perform with him. If you watch Peter's reaction to this video, you'll see how giddy he is.
How great was that! Love having Tim sing with the Bass Gang. Tim is the growl master but he can also sing high. I have always liked this song done first by the late B.J. Thomas in 1968. It was later done by Jonathan King in 1971 & Blue Swede in 1974 who both added the "ooga chaka" part.
Also in the late 90s the song featured prominently on Ally McBeal as the song the "dancing baby" was dancing to and ultimately sung by Vonda Shepard. Just throwing this in as part of the history 😊
Yes you reacted to this, ty to whom ever requested it. Great reaction. And the one low note you question was Bobby Bass. The Bass Gang all sings low well or high and some do beatboxing. Please react to more of them. Do "Mad World" featuring Elliot Robinson, Elliot was the bass in Home Free before Tim!!
When this was first released it was untitled mp4 the jacket is supposed to resemble Star Lords jacket from Guardians of the Galaxy and everyone is loving this.
These amazing bass singers are from all over...Peter (in the gray shirt) is from Philadelphia, Bobby (with the beard) is from Boston, Marwan (beatboxer) is from Egypt and Tomi (super thin) is from Czech Republic. These guys all got to be friends and a couple years ago they started singing together. Tomi arranges, Peter produces and Marwan does video editing so together they have a lot covered. They have grown quite a bit in the 2 years they've been working together so getting Tim to collab with them is amazing! They each have their own TH-cam channels...I found Tomi first and promptly had my mind blown! It just sort of grew from that! This video was the result of almost a year of work from first idea to end result. And so worth it!! Great song and great reaction!
On several of them they’ve taken turns arranging. I don’t read the credits every time but everyone tomorrow I will see that Peter arranged it or that Marwan arranged it.
I'm so excited you did this reaction, D! Love the Bass Gang. Another really good cover they do is Yellow Flicker Beat featuring Colm McGuinness, who's a whole nother rabbit hole of his own.
Welcome to The Bass Gang. They're (in my opinion) up-and-comers. They are all basses, but (as you can hear) have huge rangers and can hit those high notes, as well.
You will like more of the Bass gang Bobbie Bass was the one that threw you . They all sing Bass but they all have range to do the higher notes too. Bass Gang is actually a very solid group of highly talented men. And yes Bobby who sang "cup of wine" line was the one who said it not Tim lol. Bass Gang members are Peter Barber (from Philly), Marwan Ayman (from Egypt), Tomi P (from Czech Republic), and Bobby Bass (from Boston). Give them a listen to all their covers if you can you WON'T be disappointed
I hope there are more requests for them..Tomi and Marwan are amazing arrangers..Tomi, Peter and Marwan all have separate channels..and Peter has a popular reaction channel as well…
Actually, it’s a juice box, not a zippy cup, but he is not old enough to drink yet. If you watch Peter Barber’s reaction to this, he can tell you more about the Bass Gang, and how they got him to collaborate, also, Peter’s respect for Tim.
So good! I didn’t know the Bass Gang either but I know some of the members a little bit. Peter was nuts and I know a little bit about Tomi. So much fun and yes, there was Tim going high (for the most part). Tim’s range - goodness gracious! Loved it and I was laughing at their antics. Too much fun. Thanks for sharing D!!🥰
The song was played in Guardians of the Galaxy. The Bass Gang asked Tim to wear a jacket as close to the one that Chris Pratt wore in the movie playing the part of Peter Quill/Star-Lord. Just for the fun of it
Okay, I've looked through the comments you've gotten so far about who The Bass Gang is, but I haven't seen anyone recommend any of the singers' individual work (which will give you a sense of each of their voices). So, reading from left to right in the first scene w/ Tim Foust: *Marwan Ayman* covering "Get Down" by Avi Kaplan: th-cam.com/video/Idhq_OZAziI/w-d-xo.html *Peter Barber* covering "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons: th-cam.com/video/SVI2FaRzXN0/w-d-xo.html *Tomi P* covering "Sweet Dreams" by The Eurythmics: th-cam.com/video/MiZFJKNfaKg/w-d-xo.html, and finally, *Bobby Bass* covering "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch:": th-cam.com/video/dvWSwFldJio/w-d-xo.html Enjoy your journey of discovery!
Peter is in the gray zip shirt and he is a professional Bass Opera singer. He also has a TH-cam channel. The rest I don't know. Love me some WTFoust!! 😂
The juice pack is because he is underage. All 4 of them sing bass and one can do the Tim Foust ground floor bass. Thanks for taking my suggestion to cover them. Next song that they do, which is awesome, is Mad World.
This was so much fun watching your confusion. So, now that others have introduced the Bass Gang members, listen to their version of "Blue Christmas" released two months ago. Don't wear socks....you'll just lose them anyway. This one will give you each one up close and in your face....and you'll love every minute. Promise!
The members of Bass Gang are Peter Barber (wearing the grey sweatshirt), Tomi P (wearing the dark blue button up.), Marwan Ayman (wearing the white Hawaiian shirt) and Bobby Bass (pink buttoned shirt) Marwan was doing the beat boxing. They have several good songs out on TH-cam if you want to continue your Bass Gang journey. I recommend Bones, Centuries, Hide and Seek, and Yellow Flicker Beat.
This song was a HUGE HIT for BJ Thomas around 1968. Written by Mark James. Though this song was interesting, but I like BJ’s so much more! Please give it a listen sometime.
They're all TH-cam bass guys. I believe they connected during the pandemic. The only two I recognize is Peter, in the grey, who also does song reactions, and Bobby, with the wine glass subharmonic, who does bass 'duets' with other videos.
Welcome to the Bass Gang! 🙂 They're likely to be the most ridiculously underrated a cappella band on the scene. They are 4 bass singers: Peter Barber (who does reactions/analysis as well on his own channel and is a professional bass opera singer,) Tomi P, Marwan Ayman and Bobby Bass (the one who sings that super low note you thought was Tim 😁). All of them are incredibly talented. And they had to overcome a practical difficulty that, I believe, kinda "forced" them to develop their unique style, both in music and video: they live at the 4 corners of the world, and NEVER met in person (yet). Every one records his part, both video and audio, and then all the material is sent to the one who takes care of the editing. 🙂 They have a number of videos on their channel, and I strongly suggest that you take a look at some other of their videos... You choose, they're all good 😁. After this collaboration with Tim, I really hope they will have a chance of doing more collabs with the other great basses we love so much, i.e. Geoff and Avi. They already have videos featuring other great bass singers, like the ones in the "collection" named "May the bass be with you nr. 2" (or something of the like). They are great, and to me they've always been up there with Home Free, Voiceplay and Pentatonix. The 4th members of the QUADRIfecta of the a cappella world. 🙂 Can't wait for you to react to more of their stuff. 🙂 See you next time!
Check out a reaction with Peter Barber who is one of the guys in The Bass Gang: Bass Singer REACTION & ANALYSIS - The Bass Gang | Hooked on a Feeling (feat. Tim Foust) here you get to know a little more about the guys in the group.
Earlier, this week was the first time I listened to this song and to The Bass Gang, although I've watched a few of Peter Barber's reactions on his channel. Peter did an extensive song analysis on Austin Brown and Rob Lundquist singing Nessun Dorma. (Peter thought, with practice, that Rob could professionally sing opera.) Anyhow, for comparison, Peter has a SIX octave range, while Tim has a five octave range. I'd like to know the other 3 singers' ranges.
Actually I think Tim's jacket is not for Michael Jackson but for Peter Quill, Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy. this song was played in at least one scene.
It was a joy watching you discovering the Bass Gang. Who did that low sound? It was Bobby. In fact they all can go low, because you listened to four talented bass singers. Who does the beat boxing? Marwan, you were right. But I think, they all can beat box!. They are not only singing low. They all have a great range. Of course in this one Tim is amazing as always. They have more amazing collaborations. Try Mad World with one of my fav Elliott Robinson: th-cam.com/video/zB7ayasb-Xs/w-d-xo.html
Ya know a great song for you guys to do that continues the theme of a lot of your stuff, 'The Chemical Worker's Song' by The Great Big Sea. This version isn't the original, the song is around 100 years old if I remember right but, its my favorite version (so far?)
I've been thinking of songs by Bass gang I could recommend, too many really. My favourites though Bury a friend Emperor's New clothes Mad World Centuries
The Bass Gang:
Beatboxer: Marwan Ayman-he also did the edits on the video (does most of the group’s videos), has an incredible voice/range, and he’s only 18.
Thanks for the reaction! :)

Okay, I've looked through the comments you've gotten so far about who The Bass Gang is, but I haven't seen anyone recommend any of the singers' individual work (which will give you a sense of each of their voices). So, reading from left to right in the first scene w/ Tim Foust:
*Marwan Ayman* covering "Get Down" by Avi Kaplan: th-cam.com/video/Idhq_OZAziI/w-d-xo.html
*Peter Barber* covering "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons: th-cam.com/video/SVI2FaRzXN0/w-d-xo.html
*Tomi P* covering "Sweet Dreams" by The Eurythmics: th-cam.com/video/MiZFJKNfaKg/w-d-xo.html, and finally,
*Bobby Bass* covering "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch:": th-cam.com/video/dvWSwFldJio/w-d-xo.html
Enjoy your journey of discovery!
Killed it
Peter is in the gray zip shirt and he is a professional Bass Opera singer.
Promise!
Welcome to the Bass Gang.
3:02 yes that was Bobby.
Awesome!! Loved it!! ❤
the bass gang are amazing tomi p mowhan bobby bass and peter baber thay are all bass singers
I recommend Bones, Centuries, Hide and Seek, and Yellow Flicker Beat.
these guys are awesome dude...add them to the awesome singers list
This song was a HUGE HIT for BJ Thomas around 1968. Written by Mark James. Though this song was interesting, but I like BJ’s so much more! Please give it a listen sometime.
They're all TH-cam bass guys. I believe they connected during the pandemic. The only two I recognize is Peter, in the grey, who also does song reactions, and Bobby, with the wine glass subharmonic, who does bass 'duets' with other videos.
Welcome to the Bass Gang! 🙂
They're likely to be the most ridiculously underrated a cappella band on the scene. 🙂
They have a number of videos on their channel, and I strongly suggest that you take a look at some other of their videos...
Can't wait for you to react to more of their stuff. 🙂
See you next time!
You have to watch their cover of mad world
Check out a reaction with Peter Barber who is one of the guys in The Bass Gang: Bass Singer REACTION & ANALYSIS - The Bass Gang | Hooked on a Feeling (feat. Tim Foust) here you get to know a little more about the guys in the group.
❤❤
Marian Awan, the one with the juice box, is underaged…hence the juice box. The Bass Gang is awesome!
You really need to check out some of The Bass Gang's stuff. They are REALLY good.
Actually I think Tim's jacket is not for Michael Jackson but for Peter Quill, Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy. this song was played in at least one scene.
I believe the one guy is actually a bass singer reactor
new YARMAK - Хай нам брате пощастить
you need to check out the bass gang...the are awesome. The deep bass you were wondering about, was the guy holding the wine glass..Bobby Bass.
we have done a few bass gang since actually :)
@@ReactionsbyD awesome..they are wonderful
It was a joy watching you discovering the Bass Gang. Who did that low sound? It was Bobby. In fact they all can go low, because you listened to four talented bass singers. Who does the beat boxing? Marwan, you were right. But I think, they all can beat box!. They are not only singing low. They all have a great range. Of course in this one Tim is amazing as always. They have more amazing collaborations. Try Mad World with one of my fav Elliott Robinson: th-cam.com/video/zB7ayasb-Xs/w-d-xo.html
Bobby Bass❤ a swedish song
You need to watch The Bass Gang "Bones" video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or "Ding Dong Hide and seek"
Ya know a great song for you guys to do that continues the theme of a lot of your stuff, 'The Chemical Worker's Song' by The Great Big Sea. This version isn't the original, the song is around 100 years old if I remember right but, its my favorite version (so far?)
Watch Peter Barber yutube channel watching the video for the first time. Mawan's only 17 so thus the sippy cup
Wasn't this FUN!!
