How does this Goggomobile pickup pass U.S. environmental standards? have a look at the early 1960's Australian Lighburn Zeta ''pickup'', two stroke air cooled two cylinder engine, front wheel drive, a vehicle so weird you can't help but love it.

@@Your.Uncle.AngMohThere were no emissions standards during that time Berlioz. The dreaded “chicken tax” 25% tariff for trucks imported into the US was not yet imposed.

With the exception of 5 trucks, all of the rest were available in South Africa. All of them were and are still popular in South Africa. They are all still running in South Africa.

A TV shop I worked at inn the '40s had a Crosl Ickup, and car that had been use to run service cals or pick up parts. The owner told me about running a service call at a golf course. Some idiots had picked it up and set it between two power poles, leaving him stuck there after he finished repairing their PA system.

He pronounces goggomobile correct sometimes and not others. Sometimes, it's like Lady Gagamobile and other times he sounds like he's saying gagomobile which I'm sure many Fillipinos would find hilarious 😂

Using "truck" here stretches the definition of this term. The Aussie term "ute", or "utility vehicle", is much better. Especially when you consider most of these are modified sedans.
If you want really small utility vehicles, look no further than any of the ones built on the Kei platform in Japan.
The Mini that features most here has been lowered and modified.
Goggomobil: G-O-GG-O. Aussies will understand this. And most of the film of these is in Australia. Go the Big Prawn!
18:30 That's an Isuzu from Malaysia, or possibly Indonesia. It's not a Chevy Luv.
20:30 Even in 'Murica, the Rampage was not unique. The Subaru BRAT- called the Brumby in Australia- was in the US market. Ditto the VW Golf/Rabbit ute. Both of these vehicles are in this video.

I have. 91 GMC Sonoma it’s about the same size as the LUV wish they still made them the old Iron Duke 151 CID and 5 speed is about bullet proof it’s got 265 K and starts right up in the cold weather sadly rust will kill it before it wears out the engine . I had a ford econoline pickup. The engine was NOT under the driver it was between the seats in a doghouse like a cab over semi tractor and it never had a 4 cylinder engine the maker of this video needs to learn his facts of the trucks he is talking about !

You really should research this stuff before you spout off false information. My dad has a 1960 morris minor pick up that he bought in 1972 here in the us. Still has it. It’s left hand drive. Just Google “could you buy a 1960 morris minor pick up in the USA” and you’ll see the answer. Also most of the ones you showed are really custom. Totally different beds and fenders and such.. can’t really talk about the way they were and show ones that are not the way they were. I don’t know enough about the others..honestly I stopped watching after I realized this is all made up by you

Croeley akso built abd owbed WLW radio statuin abd some TV stations W:W had an experimentak kuscense to rn 500KW at 700KHz. That was 10 times more than other statuins. Theywere also a defebnse contractor. The building I worked in made weapons for US fighter planes. After that it was AVCO, 'Tge Aviatuib Cimoany' which later became Cincinnati Electronics . Both of these built military electronics.
The waas stll a Croeley musem in the busines side of the compex that showed the wide aray of products they built. It also had their livrary of Engnering books up to aroind 1960.

Subaru didn't sell the brat in the U.S. untill 1978 not 74, and the model your showing is an 1985, it stands to reason you screwed that up just by listening to shoddy narration.

Repititious, overly verbose, ad nausium narration, showing highly modified, not restored-to-original, examples, calling a Goggomobile van a pickup truck and that's just viewing to the Isuzu LUV.
