I bought the H&R 10 gauge new in 1980 for $89.00 same one you have. Shooting Goose with the gun pointed up in the air.
After two boxes of shells No# 2 shot lead back then , It beat my arm up, I was 23 years old then. Shooting that gun pointed up
it's a different story. Nice vid

You know, I never really thought of it that way. I dove hunt, but other that that, I don't shoot many winged critters. And I sure wouldn't dove hunt with this bohemoth lol
Thanks for the comment, my friend! May God richly bless you!

A few years ago there was a guy who tested the New England Firearms version of this shotgun, with a synthetic stock. It kicked like a mule. He said it was the hardest kicking firearm he ever shot. I bought an H&R single shot a few years ago but it was in 20 gauge in order to save my shoulder.

I bought a H&R 10 gauge in 1986, it cost me a weeks pay, at that time that was 73.00 bucks, I got laid off the following week, great gun 👍😁

Does it have a fixed choke, or a screw in choke?
