      Still crazy & wild for me til these days that Greedy never become a single despite being the most single sounding the most from the album! M/V for Greedy would have been very fantastic too!

    You shouldve included Britney, she has 4 albums that perfectly encapsulate this concept (3 if me against the music is considered a flop as well)
    Baby One More Time - Bottom of my Broken Heart
    Oops I did it Again -Dont let me be the Last to Know
    In the Zone - Outrageous
    Circus - Radar
    Femme Fatale - Criminal
    and I know 3 more of her albums technically dont have enough singles for this list but they would work as well

    • @survivorbest4589
      @survivorbest4589 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Radar and outrageous flopped but those 3 other singles were actually successfull. FTBOMBH is forgotten but it did sell well and was the 8th most sold physical single of the decade in the states ...
      DLBTLTK wasn't even properly released commercially in the US but it was very successful in Europe where it was reaching top 10 positions.
      Criminal was overlooked in the states but again crushed it worldwide reaching VERY high positions on the charts and airplay. Later on it gained new audience through tiktok.

    Everyday, Hey Hey Hey and The Last Time deserved soo much more
    - Everyday is one of my favorites off of DW tho. The beat slaps and Ariana vocals are great, especially that high note at the climax.
    - Hey Hey Hey's production is amazing and overall the song is amazing, but ofc, the hate train did it's thing sadly... even sadder is that it is still doing it 7 fucking years later....
    - The Last Time is also an amazing song, sonically, vocally and emotionally. One of the best from Red
    Hard White also deserved more but i would choose maybe some other songs for single from Queen

    some singles get sabotaged because either the radio programmers don't like the artist or the label wants the artist to move on quickly to their next LP or a single gets cancelled to try and make the album sell more for ex Columbia Records pulled the US release of Mariah Carey's song Butterfly as a single which was scheduled for Sept 29th 1997 two weeks after the album was released and shortly after Honey had reached #1 for 2 weeks My All was #1 for the week ending May 23rd 1998 she scored her 14th #1 single the week ending October 9th 1999 with Heartbreaker

    Everyday was a banger. One of her best songs ever. I feel it was more hip hop. Radio stations were conflicted with this. Leading to pop stations not playing it bc it wasn’t pop enough and hip hop bc it wasn’t hip hop enough.
    Camila has been flopping for a minute. I think the Ed Sheeran reign is letting up. Which would be a relief to the world. Drink you away was the start of the flops. Soulmate, filthy, supplies, all followed. I don’t feel male fantasy was released ww. Happier than ever was the final single in the us. Katy’s career has been done since witness era. 143 don’t look any better.
    The Weeknd’s breakthrough just started. I don’t think acquainted got much promo. I didn’t know a video was even made. Taylor definitely didn’t release that in the us. It was everything has changed. Which underperformed also. Can’t be tamed era was a huge flop. Then bangerz came and she became bigger than ever. Funny how we can’t stop was way more provocative & became one of her biggest hits ever. That song by Nicki didn’t get a ww release either.

    Taylor Swift is amazing. That doesn't mean however that she never ever misses the mark. When I purchased red the luxe edition... I just couldn't get enough.... For this day I still can't.
    That being said... I didn't care for last time in the first place... Meaning even before it was ever considered to be a single. Didn't want to be one of those people who just write the song off after not enjoying it one time... So I gave it a few chances... And finally said... Okay yeah I definitely don't like that song. Didn't feel like it really fit in with the rest of the tracks.
    When I found out it was released as a single... I couldn't help but wonder what in the world Taylor was thinking. So many great songs on the album you couldn't pick something else? Personally... My top choice would be HOLY GROUND. Followed by STATE OF GRACE lastly STARLIGHT.

    Meh, you kinda missed. Many mistakes or inaccuracies.
    - ”First Man" was released as a single only in the USA, there was no release in the UK or any other country;
    - "Who Owns My Heart" saw limited release in just a few european countries;
    - "Hey Hey Hey" had just a promo video to close the era. It was released as a radio single literally just in Italy;
    - "Hard White" had just a promo video to close the era. A release of a music video is different from an actual single release.
    Do better research next time please 😅
