You can take a break and always come back, no matter what age. I recently found my way back to Indys after 2 years on Thunders and I’ve been loving them again!

Great skating man, tell us how those indys hold up. I've had mixed results skating indys. Ventures grind down super quick, but the quality holds up until they are wasted.
Indy’s rule man. The turn is so good, the pinch so great too. The “pinch” is always associated with thunder trucks. But fuck, Indy’s pinch great too, and grind amazing!

Oh I see you’re doing the standard baseplate on the Titaniumians. I actually think Indys benefit from being a bit higher with how much the bring in the wheel base so that’s good. Especially as it allows for less wheel bite or bigger wheels.
Hi from winter in NZ! I haven't been skating much either. Experiencing a bit of SAD and MOPE and putting on weight haha. I don't want to go outside in the cold wind, get a chill and and get my wheels muddy 😅. At times like this it's good to round up a little crew. Make it a social thing - no pressure, more talking than skating! Love your vids, very relatable! P.S Indys are great, I like to turn! Either Indy or Ace for me but Ive been eyeing the new Lurpivs! I don't need them though 😂
Whenever I skate I usually take the whole quiver, 5 setups. I don’t think they’re wildly different, but they are all different. I do think ventures lock into slappy crooks better than Indy, but I like Indys too
@@stickersteve007 i have a primary/favorite. i like to have at least one popsicle and one shaped. i just happened to grab a few completes off fb marketplace, so i just have to fight the urge to set new ones up as they break 😭
Also forgot to mention. With Indy titanium, I wouldn’t try Slappy. Those trucks are so expensive. I’d skate the hell out of those and then go to Slappy. Fight the truck madness man.
Took a short break too man. Its nice not being in pain every day. I love skating. Its just better when you can enjoy it and go longer. I have the Ti Indy's too. 8.5". I still haven't found good bushings for them. They are either too tight or too squirelly. The quality has severly suffered since they moved production to China. The USA made models were unbeatable. Its why I am on Thunders once again. There is an elongated oval on the bottom of the trucks. A stamp with "USA" used to appear there. The celtic cross is also gone from them. They aren't true Indy's anymore to my mind. They are more expensive than ever now too. Money not well spent. Sorry Indy fans. Its the truth. I wish it wasn't so.
i totally get that. all my indys are old. besides these TI ones (4 yrs old) idk when they moved to china, but almost all my Indys have the OG cross on em. they should have never givin in and changed the logo

Everyone knew that symbol alone. I long for the good old days when we were still allowed to live our lives. I will probably get roasted for even saying all this.
I hear ya man. I barely skated all july because of my work schedule and the heat. Sometimes you need a little break for skateboarding to really appreciate it. Also, imo don’t bother with the slappys. They’re basically just indys with a different name. They’re good but not worth getting into truck madness over.

Only skated them for maybe one more session. I used to only skate indys.

i agree. i prefer the standard indy height. Probably why i ended up liking risers on my ventures
