Similar story happened to mee. I had a 3gen acura tl stanced out but i had installed air suspension to it and had a full sound system. Overall really nice car and everything was working perfectly while i had it. That same week somehow the new owner destroys the sideskirt and calles me at 5am to see how to put it back. Later on that same week he had messed with the air suspension and sound system wiring and the car was sitting on the frame so it would not move at all. He kept trying to call me and text me to go over to his house and fix it for him. His house was like an hour away. Im like bro if you didnt know what you getting yourself into then why did you get it. I sent him the wiring diagram so he can do it or rewire it to his liking and what not. Overall he was calling and texting everyday to the point i stopped replying and started ignoring him. I just told him look you got the car it was working perfectly fine while it was with me and all of sudden it has all these problems happen the same week of you owning it its not my problem so i let him deal with it. It sucks when you have put so much money and hard work to your car just so someone else can just destroy it.

Had a 88 Civic hatch that needed a water pump. Sold it to a coworker's kid who knew the issue and intended on fixing it. I was down on my luck and did not want to sell it. The very next weekend he took it on the highway and locked the motor. I Asked the coworker if I could buy it back, basically refund him. It was already scrapped and I was devastated. I feel your pain. I ended up quiting the job over the drama that ensued.

Hot take, I really dislike stanced cars, at least once with camber like that. A little bit is totally fine! But this is overkill imo. Also I think only older 90's car look good with a little camber. If you had like maybe an old CB7 Accord or EF Civic with just a couple degrees of camber? That'd look great! As far as the car itself, if you're willing to sell it to someone and they're willing to drop the cash like they did for yours? Once they sign the bill of sale its no longer your problem lmao. I agree to an extent . I feel like yes , once i receive the money and sign the title over, it’s no longer mine 100%. So I “shouldn’t” care. Just given the impact this car had on the stance community , a lot of people idolized it & really enjoyed my posts and content with it. Had i know the owner had absolutely no experience even though they claimed they had a ton, i wouldn’t have sold them the car. So i kinda blame myself for all of this

Most people I've sold my cars to, have a general knowledge of cars (at least as much as me lol) and most of the time when I've sold my cars its mostly because I no longer need/want the car (recently sold a winter beater EK) or it needs way more work than I'm willing to invest to keep the car (Red EK hatch I sold needed a ton of rust repair, new fuel and brake lines and entire rear suspension components...living in Maine really do be a struggle lmao.)

The very next weekend he took it on the highway and locked the motor. I Asked the coworker if I could buy it back, basically refund him. It was already scrapped and I was devastated. I feel your pain. I ended up quiting the job over the drama that ensued.

Hot take, I really dislike stanced cars, at least once with camber like that. A little bit is totally fine! But this is overkill imo. Also I think only older 90's car look good with a little camber. If you had like maybe an old CB7 Accord or EF Civic with just a couple degrees of camber? That'd look great! As far as the car itself, if you're willing to sell it to someone and they're willing to drop the cash like they did for yours? Once they sign the bill of sale its no longer your problem lmao. I get you probably spent a lot of time and money into the car but sometimes its to be expected when handing a car off to a new owner. I usually hope whenever I sell a car to someone it goes to a good home. Usually it does! Once that car is sold, its out of my life, I don't usually talk to the person I sold it to since welll...it's theirs now! They can do whatever they please, rice it, race it, demo derby it idc. Granted I'm not some kinda IG car influence guy like you are so I'm not really in the business of clout either. I just wanna have fun, go fast and race!

Just given the impact this car had on the stance community , a lot of people idolized it & really enjoyed my posts and content with it. Had i know the owner had absolutely no experience even though they claimed they had a ton, i wouldn’t have sold them the car. So i kinda blame myself for all of this

Most people I've sold my cars to, have a general knowledge of cars (at least as much as me lol) and most of the time when I've sold my cars its mostly because I no longer need/want the car (recently sold a winter beater EK) or it needs way more work than I'm willing to invest to keep the car (Red EK hatch I sold needed a ton of rust repair, new fuel and brake lines and entire rear suspension components...living in Maine really do be a struggle lmao.)
