The footage is from speedrun videos of the romhacks "Super Kaizo World" and "Super Kaizo World 2", which consist of all-new, sadistically-difficult levels.
Have to say, this is one of those relatively rare remixes that captures and adds to the spirit of the source so well that it outright surpasses it, replacing the original in further listen-sessions. The only other remix I can think of off the top of my head is "The Passing of the Blue Crown" which you contributed to. In other words, splendid work, good sir!
I don't play guitar - this is actually an OLD sample library called Lyrical Distortion from Bela D Media. But these days, I use a library I designed called Shreddage. Check out my channel profile for more info :)

I love the rendition of the song. It has got so many The binding of isaac aspects in it which makes it sound so much more creepy and epic. Awesome soundtrack
X'D Fucking hell man this is so bad-ass it brought a tear to my eye!! I don't even know why, I'm not even that big a Mario fan. I think its the raw originality of taking an already great track and turning it into all out Horror-core. :)

It is kaizo, but the people playing are speedrunning using tools (TAS, tool-assisted speedrun) which often rely on glitches to get faster times. I believe you can beat this stuff without glitches though.
