This show did a fantastic job translating the comics into a cartoon better than any other media I've seen
Especially Rhino, he isn’t overly muscular like the 90’s, but not goofy like the 60’s. He’s the perfect balance between a menacing giant and a rhino suit.
The 90s spiderman did a pretty great job to especially with Shadowcat and Venom

I do agree that (While the Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire movies are still my favourite) Tom Holland plays both Peter Parker and Spiderman perfectly (better than Maguire and Garfield who could only get one or the other right), but for me Homecoming and Far From Home as a whole are just like nearly every other MCU film. Forgettable. They can't stand on their own, which is literally the core aspect of Spider-man. Most of the time he's on his own. Making decisions and dealing with the consequences on his own, until he eventually finds a genuine support system to lean on, which he then loses and has to go back to dealing with things alone. It's frustrating and at times depressing, but inspirational because he usually comes out better than what he was.

If I remember correctly I only learned about this show at least a year after cancelation so I couldn't fully appreciate all the aspects. I was born in 2004 but learned about the show by going to an old movie/TV show renting... Thing (don't know what to call it and can't remember the name as it was quite a few years ago) and renting the first season

You can tell when animators are drawing the scenes because they seem so fluid which is what happens with many cartoons that become movies, the movie has a higher budget so the animation quality increases. But I guess they wanted to shoe Spidey meeting goblin as a important scene.

I love how Disney was desperately trying to live up to the hype of Spectacular Spider-Man after they had it cancelled. They made two whole separate animated shows over the course of a decade trying to recreate what Sony had done with their show which only had 26 episodes. But no matter how hard they tried it never worked. Why? Because Disney just doesn’t know how to do Spider-Man right, unlike Sony who does.
Okay I get this but Sony has no clue what to do with spiderman 90% of the time. Like they want Tom hollands spiderman 4 to be a multiverse movie, the entire weird Sony cinematic universe existing is bad and there’s a lot more. Honestly I feel like it would be better for marvel to get the full spiderman rights again because they respect spiderman a lot more than Sony
This show is 12 years old, when it is 50 years old and this intro is still listened it will be considered atemporal, meaning it is so good that it won't be forgotten because of time

What Batman: The Animated Series is to Batman, The Spectacular Spider-Man is to Spider-Man. I consider this show to be the definitive and most accurate portrayal of Spider-Man that we've gotten thus far. Such a shame that it was cancelled.

The goblin and Norman osborn, Big Man/Tombstone (two separate characters in the comics bet you didn't know that I certainly didn't), hammerhead, Mary Jane, Harry Osborn, Liz, Spidey, Eddie brcom venom, doc ock all fun voices to imitate. To me Ultimate Spider-man cartoon doc Ock was the best thing to come out of that show but the voice for doc Ock in this show is so fun to imitate. I imitate all these voices.
Norman Osborn and the goblin too are some of the best villains Iive ever seen. But that's just my opinion. Mostly Norman. The goblin/Harry?? and venom were my favorites because of how they were used and Eddie/venom's cool voice. But Norman was the most evil. Especially when you know what happens at the end obviously but even before that. Just really evil. The strict ahole father psychopath(I'm not diagnosing him, just can't think of a better word)

Comedy seems to be the only thing they care about. The villains, dialogue, story, and choreography in spectacular were all miles above. Ultimate started off good but then they started treating it like shit

This theme music is solid but I agree. ‘67 Spider-Man theme was iconic. This one is good but it isn’t like it’s a cultural totem.
I think all of the intros were good. Personally I feel like the '90s theme was the best. The Spectacular Spider-Man I would say it's probably the best modern theme the character has been given.
As a huge fan of the 90s version i believe if this show kept running with the crap that got it canceled, it would've been the best storytelling of spider-man.

This show inspired me to see that art styles can be basic but still have alot of life and look amazing. That's why i get pissed off when people mark over things looking detailed and shit on shows like this. The use of different angles, the fluidity of the animation, the good use of cgi and just how clean it looked. Spiderman 2019 is a example of a show that is basic and looks bland. This is basic but has heart and looks amaizng.

Avengers Assemble is terrible. It's Avengers United They Stand levels of bad. Production values are low and it shows. They just use the same dumb lineup in the movie and all it does is make you realize how useless Black Widow is.
On the other hand, Earth's Mightiest Heroes actually cared about their characters and crafted a world which included elements from the movies as well as classic comics (same as Spectacular Spider-Man) into an enjoyable world.
It was cancelled because of money. No other reason.
