Boat building - Tenderly Dinghy - Time Lapse

This video captures the steps from start to finish of the making of Evavounette II, our small wooden boat. It was made patiently from a kit, the Tenderly Dinghy from Chesapeake Light Craft (sold in Europe by Fyne Boat Kits in the UK). With no prior experience in boat making it took about 180 hours of work. Finally, it seems to float and will soon receive an electric trailing motor, then if all goes well, we may add the sailing rig over the winter.

I so want to build one of these as a tender for my sailboat. I have been salivating over it since I found the CLC videos of the finished dinghy. Your little ship looks fabulous!! Thanks for posting the build video.

Thanks! Must say that I was surprised by the result as it looks much better than i was expecting and it is very sturdy despite the thin plywood. The boat kit is well made with a clear step by step guide with lots of pictures, can't really go wrong, just takes a bit of time to build, very happy with it!
