Im just sad that the Heal Thyself mod is gone and Bungie didn’t even replace it with anything. Heal Thyself and Well of Life is such a life saving mods for Grenade build especially for Hunter since we don’t have anything to scurry our way out like a Well or a Barricade. The current armor mod system sucks because it lack build flexibility, we’re just stuck with the same two mod loadout.
say what you will about the previous mod system, we had options for buildcrafting. Now, they state that they want your only diversity to come from the seasonal artifact mods, and it feels pretty stale if youre not using the elements they tell you to use
Yea I miss many mods of the old system, the ones you mentioned included. Hopefully they bring them back to us like they did with a few of the mods this season.
Idek who thought removing all unique mods and replacing them with cookie cutter "do x for y ability energy" mods would make the system better. Dude needs to be fired immediately
Many casuals will argue this current mod system has WAY more builds you can make, but when I make a 4 paragraph comment listing every mod removed and how many unique playstyles were completely deleted from the game, they call me names because I proved them wrong 🙂
this build can be improved to throw even more grenades. Equip double bomber on your class item and then have the arms mod that gives class ability regen on grenade hits. Now when you throw a nade you immediately dodge and the hits from that nade plus bomber give you the nade and your dodge back. Rinse and repeat. This produces so much grenade energy because activating the class ability arms mod gives you a buff where for 7-8 seconds you regen class ability, but you get it in 3 or 4 seconds. So you can throw one nade and dodge twice and be up on grenade energy.
I would definitely recommend every PvE player get it. Tbh, every weapon from VOW is worth getting the godroll of. I think VOW and DSC are the two raids with the best legendary weapons with almost every legendary weapon from those 2 raids being bangers.
Most of your survivability on arc hunter comes from combination blow heals. If you are not running combination blow (as I am not in this video), there really isnt a lot of other options. The only ones that come to mind would be the souldrinker perk, the unrelenting perk, picking up orbs gives health, and wormhusk. To be honest in this case your best defense is to have a good offense. Pick good weapons that can kill the enemies quickly and efficiently before they damage you too much, have good movement, and utilize cover. I know those last two are easier said than done, but it comes with practice. I would highly recommend you watch this video if you are ever trying to improve your movement for endgame content. th-cam.com/video/ZfkCWnSlasw/w-d-xo.html
Shinobu's is so freaking good, I've used it in Lightblade and Fallen SABER so far, ended with the most kills both times I completed those GMs. They are highly slept on, hopefully they stay that way so they avoid the nerfhammer from Bungie.
Loved the video. Super nice and informative. Was also wondering if you had any substitute recommendations with this build if I don’t have forebearance?
If you don't have a forbearance, I would use either an arc glaive like nezarac's whisper or a fusion rifle with reservoir burst or voltshot. The fusion rifle that is dropping from this nightfall is actually a great reservoir burst fusion rifle with overflow if you manage to get one, but there are others out there too.
@@mediumsurmoon6283 it's not so much that it was bugged but the mod says "when your grenade is fully expended", but when you have 2 nades you never fully expend your grenade. By the time you throw the second one, the first one will be recharging.
You are probably referring to when I am hitting jolted targets. Pretty much all of my abilities jolt targets, and hitting them with any weapon will cause them to chain lightning to nearby enemies.
@@mediumsurmoon6283ehhhhh till you’re in the boss room and last phase the boss wants to smooch your face 😘 still think void Hunter is the best option for this nightfall that’s jus imo. I’ve ran cowl and vows, and gyrfalcons feels more safe then the others. Plus the void debuffs comes clutch on the champs and boss
I have never played destiny, or really any other fps game, on a console before, so I wouldn't know. That being said, I have seen plenty of other talented console gamers out there. Thanks for watching!
Gg nice run and build to showcase arc hunter potential outside of melee builds

What a great build and run appreciate you brother man would love to hear a commentary from you some time in the future!
That's was actually really enjoyable to watch
Low Key, the chapter titles lately have been my fav.
gg!
Damn this was faster than Eso's. Nice!
I was doing this on legend and still getting nuked by ads lmao. Gonna try it again
Good Luck!
I need that nade launcher only ran vow like twice tho

Is there any survivability options with a arc hunter if you dont have invisibility?

Ikr. They are so good and I rarely ever see them used. It is a nice change of pace from the punchy builds most arc hunters use.
@@TimeLord they also go hard in DPS phases when you have a rocket launcher with Demo on it.
Would a demolitionist hothead work well in this build? (Shinobu's vow is super underrated ngl)
It’d work very well

@@TimeLord awesome!! Thanks, yeah I luckily had one of the NF fusion rifles drop with reservoir burst so imma give it a shot. Appreciate it.
Does grenade kick start work on double grenade as you never fully expend your grenade as one will always be charging?
4:24 this is where I’m at right now and by looking at it, I think it does work, unlike how it was bugged back then.

It does work when you have double grenade, thankfully.
Wow
when you're shooting wish ender and getting arc bursts when hitting whats causing that?

GG man. You think Solo Arc Cowl would work?
Yes definitely can work ,but exploding units , amount of snipers and those f•••• slowing mines really can mess up
Definitely, it’s much better in fact

I definitely think it will. I will be giving it a try sometime this week.

What’s the shader on forbearance?
The shader is called "sinking feeling".
i see you at 999 subs itd be a crime not to help and sub
I just took a screenshot of this so I will always know who my 1000th subscriber was. Thanks so much :D
