Thanks for the compliments~! 😁 I'm 2nd gen but I never kinda picked up interest in the language when I was a kid, so my vocabulary is very narrow and sometimes not even correct, hehe, that's why I use Google translate to help me understand the words/phrase (of course, if I'm lucky enough to write down the word in its correct form), a Korean dictionary for alternative meanings, and a Thesaurus for better words, so yeah, it's kinda difficult as you mentioned~~~ But I'm getting better thanks to repetition, and now I can translate around 2 minutes per hour, lol
Did the interviewer really say she asked a stupid question or are you paraphrasing?😄 some of the interview questions across the board could be stronger for such talented actors like Woo Shik, Da Mi but the questions are often unimaginative:(
I usually try to translate literally word for word unless I just can't understand & finid the Korean word, then I paraphrase whatever I understood. In this case, if I got the right word, it translates as a ridiculous/naughty question, so stupid is fine I guess 😁 The interviewer was referring to her question about why shaving off a point, and took the blame cause Woo Shik was fumbling to answer to it~~ Yeah, questions in general are the usual stuff in these press conferences I guess
