I’ve never ever heard of this type of creation. They seem so peaceful.

I love wombats, met a couple in our travels around Oz. Their rear is pretty hard and they defend their barrows by reversing into whatever is trying to get into their den.

I noticed that wombats resemble ground hogs except for being several times the size. They are both burrowing herbivores.

This was so well done 👏 thank you for presenting a comprehensive video on wombats, based on correct facts. The common wombat is more correctly known as a Bare-nosed wombat (for obvious reasons). 💛

If I made up Wombats for a story, I could not make up simpler names for the species.
Common, northern hairy-nose, and southern hairy-nose?

    You left out 3 features.
    1) The WHO classes them as potentially dangerous
    2) (Surprisingly) They can sprint faster than a human.
    3) If attacked by a dog in the burrow, they will use their head to crush the dog's skull against the roof of the tunnel,

Correction: 3) not the head but its rear end. It’s a plate made of cartilage. And 1) I don’t think that’s true.. where did you go that information from?
