Skate 3 Exploding Skater Glitch Tutorial (6+ methods)

- NOTE: YOU CANNOT UNPATCH THE DOWNLOADABLE VERSION. I was mistaken about this. If you want to unpatch the game, you MUST have the disk version.
This is what I've been working on for the last few weeks, I hope you have fun with it! Unpatching instructions below.
Glitches:
Hippy Jump Glitch - 1:30
Board Swing Glitch - 2:02
Board Swing To Superdude - 2:32
Bench Grab Nose Manual Glitch - 3:44
Run-Out Grab Glitch - 4:51
Rolling Grab Glitch - 6:33
Glitchy Geometry and Props - 7:51
Superdude glitch - 10:45
Superdude glitch at Aletown - 11:38
How to unpatch Skate 3 on PS3:
0. Make sure you have access to the PSN account you bought your DLC with. If you don't, you'll lose it forever (or at least until you buy it again).
1. Go to Game - Game Data Utiliy (NOT saved data)
2. Delete both "Skate 3" and "Skate 3 DLC" from this folder
3. Go online, and redownload the DLC you own from the PSN store. (This will keep you from losing your character if he has DLC items, as well as giving you all of the DLC unpatched, except for the sanitarium)
4. It is recommended you disconnect from the internet before starting Skate 3 again.
Unpatching Skate 3 on the 360 requires you to delete the system cache (google "xbox 360 clear cache" to find out how), which can have unintended side effects for other games. It won't delete your saves or DLC, and all of your other games should be fine as long as you make sure to update them before you play them.
Again, if you have the Xbox 360 downloadable version, you don't need to unpatch it. - เกม

Hey Helix, sorry I've missed a few streams. I have discover a slow motion glitch.
Easy steps.
Object dropper, Sh*t ton of shoping carts.
Not really, it doesn't act as lag, it acts as slowmotion.
+That Kid down the street On single-player console games they're used interchangeably. It's overloading the memory of the console which causes the console to take more time loading up each frame.
You can do it on any game. The more complicated the model, the easier it'll be to overload the memory.

That's how I managed a fifty trick combo, place loads of objects, and do the wheelie thing and keep the chain going

There's another method I found. Hard mode, 360 bs 360 inward heel dark catch, goofy stance. It makes you go flying

Here's a tip for all of you who want to explode easy. All of Helixsnakes' methods all work flawlessly. But the first board swing glitch really makes u explode like crazy. Just go to skate school, set a marker by Coach Frank, set it to HARDCORE mode, then WALK up to him, hold RB or R1, then, while holding RB or R1, hold down Y or Triangle. You should explode after a few tries.
Found this works best when running at him then swinging and exploding. Produces hilarious animations such as a board going where the sun dont shine and my character riding to space

Hey do you do skate3 anymore?
I found a glitch with the glitched handplant glitch.
Effectiveness: ***** (every successful try you should fly out of the world, if lucky, you will stay spazzing all over the place closer to the ground giving more hall of meat points)
Difficulty: ****** (hard - very hard)
Required Game difficulty: Easy
Step1: hold rb while going up a ramp.
Step2: do a laser flip dark catch (when in regular) about a second before doing the hand plant.
Step3: right after the laser flip dark catch, immediately do the pumping gesture (called pump or something like that)
Step4: As fast as possible, flick your right stick (preferably to the right)
Step5: Press b to do the christ air hand plant.
The glitch happens 5% of the time, it may take up to 3 hours trying to do it, if youre lucky, maybe only up to 40 mins.
Your character's shoulders/around the location of the chest should twist if done correctly. This glitch is not a waste of time in my opinion. Once you master how to do laser flips and glitched hand plants, you're set. After that, it gets relatively easy after some practise.

i did number 5 and it crashed my game xD
It might mean that your Game is Patched
i'd buy a next gen console if skate 4 would be released. one of my fav games

Here’s a glitch I found
Hand signal grab glitch
Effectiveness: **
Difficulty: * (Very easy)
Versatility: ***** (Works anywhere)
1: Choose hand signals. Each signal does something different, so pick whichever one works best for you.
2: Walk up to any prop you can grab. This glitch works better on some props than others.
3: Do a hand signal and immediately click and hold the grab button.
4: You will get an animation glitch that occasionally causes the skater to explode.
I actually didn't include that glitch because it's less effective than any of the glitches in the video. However it is notable because of how easy it is to do.
@@HelixSnake Also, I wondered if I was playing patched or unpatched, but then did the board swing to superdude and got launched outside the skybox... It's definitely unpatched...
And superdude in aletown froze my game...

6.5 was the best one in my opinion. But some others worked very well sometimes.

If anyone in the comments want to make a lag machine then just place a tri pod camera or find one and jump on top sometime it may crash your game

Unfortunately, no. And getting the disk version just downloads the downloadable version. Unfortunately there is no way to unpatch the Xbox One version.

Find a pick up truck like this one upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/33/Green_pickup_truck.png (I got to industrial district around dry docks)
Make sure it is OPEN BACKED no cover.
Stand on top of the cab/cockpit part then face the trailer part.
Hold a Y or triangle so you are staying ready to drop in.
Let the car drive until you spazm out then get sent flying reaaaaally fast.
Rinse and repeat.
And we have yet to find a t pose glitch

I did the superdude glitch with a varial kickflip, it boosted me a bit, but not like the other superdude thing. 0_o

I discovered another glitch for Aletown. I’ve had trouble doing the normal superdude glitch. So, I found out that you can do a modified version to make your chances of success much higher.

Do a nollie. Immediately hold one trigger, and then push forward on the stick to initiate a flip. Then, keeping one trigger held, press B, release the stick, do a hand signal, and press and hold the other trigger.
Not really an exploding skater glitch usually but fun to watch. Do the launch glitch with the 360 pop shove it but replace the pop shove it with a kickflip
Someone hire Helix as a QA tester.
helix i found another glitch! its kinda like board swing but you jump hit the quest giver and get on your board it dosent exactly explode you but it sends you flying in the air or itgives you speed when a person is next to you it hits them.

I found something weird in my Skate 3 game I play Stone 6 rails together and it's some wrong very happened
I have found another glitch
Go to Container ship
Bail onto the stairs up onto the ship (not cabin)
And try make one of your body parts go through the railing next to the hull of the ship
And then you get sucked in by the overlord of ships
Do any of these glitches work in the patched version, because I tried the first two and only get a little bit of glitching from it.

Dude I can do some glitches! Ramp Launch, Board Swing (located in 2:02), Glitchy Geometry and Props, and both Superdude glitches from 10:45 and 11:38 (I can basically do it in almost every location in-game) but hope you do more glitch stuff in Skate 3!
