🙂 Saluti Luigi. 👍

If I ever get sentenced to death and I get granted a last wish, I would say “Study Roman history”… 😅
It’s really endless, always learning something new! And that’s I have read quite a lot. I didn’t know about Tullia, Bellissima! 😻

With so many centuries of history behind us it was inevitable. A succession of events fortunately often transcribed by historians 🙂👌

Another great video! Specific appreciation of the establishing shot near the Colosseum, which enables me to replicate the start of this walk when I get there

I can see the Borgia passage is still dark and scary today 😅
I didn’t know Borgia were of Aragon origin, I see, similar to the Argentine writer Jorge Borges. I’m sure he would claim he was related to the Borgias 😏

I can never understand why anyone would spray paint their hideous scrawl on the walls of buildings. It reminds me of how rats leave their funky smears along the base of walls they use to help them steer around. There is nothing attractive about this lowest form of self expression.

Unfortunately, this is a bad habit of many Roman neighbourhoods, especially Trastevere. 😑
