Ok che sono passati 3 anni e qualcosa soprattutto in prossimità del giubileo sarà stato rimesso a posto però... marciapiedi fatiscenti, buche, erbacce dappertutto, erba delle aiuole non tagliata oltre ai soliti graffiti e sporcizia ecc... In un posto del genere. (Gia le prime inquadrature di Via Di Valle Murcia dicono tutto) Ripeto, spero che in questi tre anni siano stati rimessi a posto i marciapiedi. "Messi a posto" poi... che a Roma vuol dire farli con asfalto e catrame, ma che almeno si cammini.

I would love to know how much of that building is made up from the ruins of the Roman Empire, the marble columns etc.

Santa María de los Ángeles es la primera de las basílicas principales que vi en Roma. Al verla, pensé que verdaderamente existían iglesias como las que yo había visto en mis sueños. Después he visto otras basílicas de Roma, y no sé cuál me gusta más. Lo que no me gusta en Santa maría de los Ángeles es el órgano que instalaron en este siglo, ahí estaría mejor un órgano pequeño, que no tapase tanto la pared, y de un estilo más acorde con la iglesia en general.

I had the opportunity a decade ago to live at San Anselmo, the Benedictine College on the Aventine. I took this walk many times knowing that it was ancient, not just an alleyway.

What a fascinating video and very calming. Beautifully made and wonderful to see the backstreets which are so interesting - and clean!. Better than London is now - an awful place these days.

These really are some of the most beautiful videos on TH-cam - no music or "selfies", just a sedate tour around Rome. I particularly like the ordinary backstreets which I find endlessly fascinating. I am also struck by how few tourists are there as most major tourist sights have been ruined by masses of human beings, all of them making noise. Well done. I am sorry these videos have stopped being made a year ago.
