Maybe your sibling blocked you on wifi ip address or whoever it was.

@@SketchyDoodles no. But I did find out that my employer had it set up to where the first 250 devices connected to it it would latch on to that i.p. address unless the router was reset or they changed it. They eventually changed it

Make sure mac filter is not on in the router and if it is either turn it off obviously use a connected device to check
Also best thing to do is factory reset router and just connect

Also go to settings in WiFi and just make it static and put IP address assigned up by a digit or down by a digit
