This list has become one of my favorite decks in the game! Sabrina is a real danger for sure. A wise opponent can also setup more while your Snorlax is stuck in front. I have heavily considered using the Mewtwo(not EX) with 120 HP and 2 retreat to make it much easier to get into Blastoise when the time comes, only needing 1 energy and an X Speed to get him out of there to start swinging. I just get nervous that I'll really need that extra HP to give me that one extra turn lol, you never know! Loved the list!
@ To avoid Sabrina. The ideal situation is 1 active pokemon to stall the game, 1 blastoise line and 1 fossil. In this scenario, if your opponent use sabrina you could easily discard the fossil. Another scenario is when you already ramped your blastoise ex and he is your active pokemon. In this case, you can just discard the benched fossil to turn off the sabrina potential. Using another pokemon implies on losing 1-2 turn o energy stack on your blastoise line or couting on the retreat cost item
I prefer running 2 Articuno and a Lapras, non EX. It's 100 HP water with 1 retreat and 2 retreat that's a water misty target. Not as tanky as snorlax or chansey but way more versatile
Is Snorlax really the best wall? with a 4 retreat cost? Essentially you either go aggressive or can only attack with Blastoise on the opponent's terms .... and Alakazam can kill a fully energised Blastoise.
this deck is somewhat very good against mewtwo and somewhat good against Pikachu ex, but falls short against charizard ex & venusaur ex (when reaching late game and opponent is up 2 points and u have 0 - because of primary strat of stalling), machoke ex (if they can machoke fast, especially when snorlax's weakness is fight pokemon), falls somewhat short against gengar and koffing deck when rng is bad, also when u don't have any fossils, no versatility and loses to 2 sabrinas easily.
@@CardOtakuDesu yea true but like if they kill my lapras my blastoise is already powered up and he basically wipes out everything after that cuz misty helps with the 5 energy
The danger is sabrina, maybe add a fossil, i tried meowth on my blastoise and starmie idk which one is good
meowth build is weak against pikachu ex, meowth cant stall for 2 or more turns

saw this video 5 min in, made the deck and had someone concede after building up my turtle dude turn 3. crazyyy
This is where i would put my second blastoise. If i had one!
There is no point in running chansey when you could run mewtu with 120 health and 2 retreat cost
Good point!
wouldn't that add psychic energy into the deck though? why would someone do that?
@@eddie.madridyou just remove the psychic energy. Mewtwo is the specifically to stall and retreat.
@@Grandeur023hold up you can do that?
@@eddie.madridyou can also stall with zapdos ex, 130 hp, basic pokemon only need one energy to retreat
I´ve been testing fossil item to avoid sabrina on this deck
i dont get the fossil why not just put a higher hp 1 retreat in

@@daniloduarte6863 sure but if you discard your fossil you still have the pokemon u used to stall the game
@@daniloduarte6863 seems like a free point to me
@ not really. It’s pretty common that the first pokemon dies at turn 3-4 or 4-5
That’s Fat_shinji deck ! I seen it on X couple days ago pretty good deck
I have no idea who that is 🙈
But with the deck size and card pool being so small it’s not surprising people will come to the same builds
That Blastoise art is peak 😂
Agreed!
Great video

True, but how many alakazam do you see
"maybe they have a sabrina but I don't think so". Top strategy really
Sometimes u just gotta risk it for the biscuit 😂

fyi: i had 100 games with this build in the event, except swapping pots for fossils and having sabrina
Alakazam, Zebrastriker, Hitleemon, Draking
Here I am with bomb blastoise ex but no wartortle haha
Run some fossils to protect your Blastoise from Sabrina.
What about kanghaskan?
I don't see a Blastoise showcase. Snorlax steals the spotlight ngl.
If I don’t have the snorlax, what other card can i use?
Chansey or Mewtwo (the non-ex one)
One word......Alakazam
run m2 instead of lax
i use lapras ex instead of snorlax
Lapras is worth 2 points so if they already built their mewtwo you can’t use 2 to stall
