I'm proud to say that i was at this game. It was abolutely unbelievable. When Summers threw down that dunk over Robinson, the whole place just erupted. I'll never forget that game. Makes me proud to be a State fan.
Playing Mich. St. in the Final Four in Detroit? Fun. At least Uconn got them back in 2014 at MSG. Still that was nothing compared to playing a road game in front of 70K. Crazy atmosphere.
That man had some innate athleticism just the fact that found a way in, lol. Probably one of the biggest/best dunks in NCAA tourney history. The only one that probably is the most memorable is the FGCU lob against georgetown, but still, summer’s dunk took way more athleticism and skill to pull off.
Tom Izzo is so freakin' classy. If you watch at 8:14, most coaches probably would have already started walking over to shake Jim Calhoun's hand, but Izzo is chasing Summers down the floor from the sideline making sure that he doesn't showboat or score, a traditionally unsportsmanlike move in that type of situation. Such an awesome coach.
