Love the fishing access sites in Montana! Loved the Badlands dispersed camping - I think we were parked just a bit further S when we were there - the next flat spot, where that white van that got totally lit up in the sunset was. And yeah - wow - it's like you were inside the orange part of the rainbow!!

Visited Bad Lands NP in 2015. Didn't know about rim boondocking, so I stayed in Cedar Pass CG. Wow, what a sunset!

Loved the Meadowlarks! Reminded me of my childhood (1950's), where we would often hear them in the field next to our house in Oceanside, CA. When I was on a photo workshop at the Badlands a few years ago, the leader took me on a special side trip just to photograph them.

We couldn’t find any trash to pick up! Our weather was beautiful…no rainbows. But I took so many pictures, because the lighting keeps changing and it is so stunning! Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful skies! And then the sunset with rainbow at the end made the rest pale in comparison. Amazing!
Disappointing to hear that the rim road will close for camping. We were there in 2015 before all the world found it, and loved the serenity of the place. We’ve wanted to go back now that we have a better trailer to stay for a while.
I love history, and have read a fair bit about Little Bighorn. But I never knew Custer and company arrived by boat! That’s a mental image I couldn’t imagine! Going to have to read up on Captain Marsh.
Thanks again for all you bring to us,

This video brought back such wonderful memories of a trip I took with a lifetime friend and her husband back to Michigan in 2020. There were so many more people there when we were there and we were there around the same time as you but we were right in the middle of covid. The sunsets in the Badlands were phenomenal! We also had to go to Wall Drugs especially after all the billboards advertising it. Safe travels!

The first animal picture you showed was a badger, not a ferret. The wooden jackalope was added to Wall shortly after we were there last year. Sure hope you took the time to see the Delta Nine museum and displays. The scenery in the Badlands area is phenomenal, so wide open so the sunsets are terrific. Until next time... Travel safe.

Loved the rainbow and glow from the sun at the end. I experienced something similar when I was in Taos last year. It had been cloudy, but as the sun was setting, it dropped below the layer of the clouds, and it changed the color of everything. I had never seen anything like it before. It felt like I was in a dream or something. I enjoyed hearing the Western Meadowlarks up on the rim. Be careful with those storms with high winds. We had straight line winds come through overnight on Thursday, and I have never been so terrified in my life in my 22' RV. I didn't get out in time to take shelter. It actually shifted my trailer over several inches on the blocks.

    • @FromShetoMe

My experience with repairs (pro service), they are nearly invisible and best to keep the factory seal in place. Solves your film reinstallation issue.
